ICC Cricket World Cup 2011

Even with wickets in hand it is going to be hard to score another 190 runs in 23 overs.

With the likes of Pathan, Dhoni and co. I wouldnt bet against it. There's the batting powerplay there as well and there's no bowler who's remotely looked effective.

Yeah, Tendulkar and Gambhir easily getting 6+ an over right now without actually going for it.

Yuvraj's bowling is very good for a part-timer, JayWalker. Much better than Raina. And yes, he's a bit tubby.

Swann taking a bit of a tonking here.

I could be well wrong with that because I havent seen much of Yuvraj's bowling. Anyway, dont think his batting will be needed anyway. He can just breeze through with the others performing as well as they are.

Sachin = Giggs

Most apt cross sport comparison.

Good move, if he is going to be valuable this tournament, he needs chances like this to regain his form early.

Yuvraj in. Perfect time for him to regain some touch. Or get dropped for Raina.

Fingers crossed.

It is not a good time for Yuvraj to come in. Kohli should have come in to stabilize the innings till like the 40th over and then Dhoni and Yuvraj could come here and blast the bowling.

Kohli's not a big hitter. I think with 9 wickets in hand, we could start hitting in another 3 overs.

Dhoni likes taking the batting powerplay after 34 overs when the new ball's in. All things considered, Yuvraj's the best choice, IMO.

I've been saying that all along Sachin is the closest cricket can come to having a Giggs

He lacks confidence...

Exactly, since Kohli is not a big hitter it would have been better for him to come in. We could have saved the big hitters for the last 12-15 overs.

They must have started their careers at a similar age? Tandulkar perhaps a couple of years ahead? Wasn't he playing international cricket at 16 or something?

Yeah he started playing for India when he was only 16. He has been playing for 21 years now.

Fantastic from Sachin, greatest cricketer I have seen.

India could get 320+, wickets in hand and some big hitters still to come.

Tendulkar is out as well. Hope Kohli and Yuvraj could keep going until the 42nd over at least. Then Dhoni can come in and take over.
