In the latest episode of the United Hour Podcast, Nik (@Rood) and Imran (@Annihilate Now!) are here to discuss three 1-1 draws.
The first got us knocked out of the FA Cup, the next puts us in a good position in our Round of 16 Europa League game, and the latest was an actual decent performance against Arsenal at Old Trafford.
All hopes for the season now rest on the Europa League - does Amorim have the squad to win it?

Why did NZ not play an extra spinner like India.
We were the best team. ICC coming out looking like fools.
They didn't have any other spin option. May be should have just played an extra batsman but the pitches in Dubai have been tough to read. Some thought at the toss that 300 was possible to score here,

Rohit should retire. Trying to play ODI wc at 40 would be crazy. Jadeja probably too though likely he will be fit enough even at 38. Regardless we need to reset the ODI team.
NZ needed to go for the kill when Rohit got out. We were under tremendous pressure then with something like 20 balls without scoring. But they let the game drift by letting Philips bowl.

I know. Being isolated in a country like Dubai whilst all the other teams got to play on the flat roads in Pakistan was a massive disadvantage. Incredible win.
going and winning it in their own backyard is a great feeling. like when the ruggers boys beat australia in the final in 2003, in australia. i’m currently lobbying the mcc to only agree to england playing tournament games if we can get to play them all at home, and pick the opposition’s starting 11.

I just read an article on reddit comparing bcci's dominance in icc to Dutch East Indian company committing genocide, so don't be really a surprised if more than a few SENA snobs put an actual asterisk against this win.

England played every single one of their CT games at Lahore with no travel required. You guys are going to need to select opposition squads just not 11 to have a chance.
