Could Australia have probably played another batsmen instead of Connolly and got more overs out of Maxwell and Head? Not sure. Either way, not enough runs and not enough good bowlers. India’s batting depth is insane with Jadeja at 8.
Connelly got rohit and he had kohli dropped by maxwell before he reached 50. Would have changed the game

SA have batting till 6 but it's shaky after that due to the extra bowler. NZ have a good attack so I expect them to win. I hope they do and beat India in the final.

SA body language etc is awful here - not sure they fancy this. Classic 'old' Bavuma innings here (he's been great last two / three years).
i think the best we can do is just not acknowledge the final takes place. unless new zealand win. i think they’re capable of causing an upset on their day, and seem to have the wood marginally over india. if sa pull this off, then i think it’s a foregone conclusion.

- Plucky NZ make it as usual, and will get beat.
- India despite being the best team anyway, have everything in their favour.
- English and Aussies with a slight India agenda can have a dig.
- Indians can get a chip on their shoulder about it, and ignore the legit farcical nature of the situation.
Everyone is annoyed, no-one is happy. Pakistan lose money and fire the board.

NZ know the Dubai pitch and conditions better than SA having played a practice match there already. Now let’s see what happens in the finals.

Can't fault NZ being in the final. They were phenomenal in the tri series in Pak before the tournament and have been good in this tournament as well.

India are hugs Favs, if you think it's 50/50 - fair enough! But it will not be the widely held view, because of stats, eyes, talent. Amongst other things.

Oh come on. It’s quite clear India are massive favourites given where they have been playing the games and less travel. Plus they have been the better team in the competition. Hopefully NZ can perform on the day.

Such poor cricket from South Africa. At the mid innings break the only team plan should be that we would much rather lose by 200 than play out the overs & lose by 30-50. They never gave themselves a chance
If you're going to start as slow as Bavuma did, you have to catch up and go on to a big score. Especially with the added pressure of a run-chase in a semi-final.
