Supposedly not going to liverpool now. I wonder are his demands too high or is it known that he’s either nailed on to go somewhere else or wouldn’t pass the medical
The rumour was he was going through some sort of medical as well and straight after Liverpool reportedly aren't signing him, so it's probably a fair assumption. There has to be a medical issue. He isn't getting any minutes for RB Leipzig as well though he's on the bench every match. I honestly cannot think of any other than he's still not fit enough to start because there is no world where Orban, Klostermann and Halstenberg are better at CB than Konate.
I wouldn't think it's any disciplinary issue as well because he was starting often before his injury.
It’s a real shame, he’s got it all and the potential to be one of the best, if only someone could keep him fit. There has to be a medical issue. To the Phil Jones Thread....It’s a real shame, he’s got it all and the potential to be one of the best, if only someone could keep him fit.
Without actually looking into it at all, I do wonder if perhaps they are deliberately doing that so nobody buys him and they can keep him for another season instead of losing him at the same time as Upamecano. Unlikely though. There has to be a medical issue. He isn't getting any minutes for RB Leipzig as well though he's on the bench every match. He was always going there
FSG are much more interested in football performance than the Glazers are. Sure they are a business like the Glazers too but they clearly are much more interested. Why can't we do business early like them, hate it.
FSG are so much better owners than the Glazers. It's infuriating.
They are always signing players early and effectively.
Also apparently we're not keen on retaining Kabak after his loan. This is probably his alternative.
You have no idea what we are or are not doing? The point is how pathetic we do transfer business in comparison
I can only speak on our past dealings and failings. Hardly claiming to know anything about what we are doing in the upcoming windowYou have no idea what we are or are not doing?

This is where my concern is as well. Heck even Van Dijk is turning 30 in July. We've got a lot of the squad hitting that age all at once, and it's clear Firmino & Mane have dropped off massively in terms of quality they're offering on the pitch. We need a refresh. The defence hasn't been the scouse problem really. Midfield is aging rapidly and the front 3 are performing below their previous level of excellence.
They'll probably sign Mbappe for 20 million up front tomorrow
No idea. Heard he was injured then he's been on the bench a bit. Klopp's done this with signings before where he doesn't play them initially then they get a look in after a while. Robertson & Fabinho both took a while before getting their chance to start regularly. Davies might be similar, or Klopp might not think he's all that. He was a desperation signing in January.WTF is the deal with Ben Davies? Is he ever going to play or did they sign him in error? I can't help thinking he was the fallback if they didn't get Kabak but with everything going to the wire they ended up with both because they were afraid of being left with nobody.
Van Dijk and Konaté! Good luck winning any headers against Liverpool next season.
Just like with Thiago I'd be wary of signing injury prone players before they've played in England where they'll be even worse off. Let's hope it's true in this case too and he never reaches his potential. They have injury prone players, so they decide to sign another injury prone player. Well, okay then.
They're probably signing Konate to waive a shiny new signing in front of the fans and try to get them off of Henry's back.
Sigh. I don't know why we were nog after such a highly rated CB. Livepool don't feck around in the transfer market.Van Dijk and Konaté! Good luck winning any headers against Liverpool next season.
