Had Balthazar King each way, not enough on it though. Mate backed pineau big, cnut
Had Alvarado on each way, not much on it but he just managed to salvage that fourth spot, the Arsenal of horse racing.
Won on that Pineau on the pub sweep. Then backed Double Seven EW on 3 different bets and won quiet a bit on that, first time one of my horses has won the National. 
Grasped should walk the 5.00 Lingfield in 15 minutes.

What price did you get, dropped all the way down to 1.36 now.
Good man, I put it in an accumulator with Pacquiao (Grasped was @ 8/15).

I don't really specialise in the horses now, boxing is my area. I'm still looking at this weekend's card for something juicy, I'll send you a pm if I arrive at any firm conclusions.
Bradley Skeete will win on points this weekend, he's a gangly bastard with no real power but he will land scoring punches all night. Odds haven't been released yet. Pac will win, probably on points. Beltran @8/15 is a good bet.
Good to see a bit of activity in this thread, used to follow the horses quite closely but not as much anymore. Enjoy betting on tennis but usually try stick with the slams and the big ATP tour events. Out of interest do you follow the UFC at all @evra ? Started to place a few bets on it to keep interest and help me stay awake during it and I've been doing quite well.
I don't know anything about it mate; not my bag. I think this forum could do with a general betting thread to discuss that kind of thing.

Who are the people who can give that suggestion any thought? @Niall @Damien - Any chance we can have one general betting thread instead of a breakdown of football/horse/boxing specific threads. There have been a fair few winners in here over the last 4 weeks and making money is the order of the day in every instance. It's not particularly busy here so it won't overload the football bets.

Those three landed 1st, 3rd, 1st. Finished Kempton with 125% profit in the end so a good evening on the horses.
Tough calls tonight so I am steering clear, apart from an interesting race in 7.40 Kempton. Just 4 horses with Anglo Irish @1.90 favourite but I think the market is being fooled slightly by the Gosden double, with Terhaab favourite in the running in the 8.40. Festival Theatre would be my pick @2.62 and I will be having a dabble because I like the price. Seems a risky one though.

Dalmo came in, good day of betting, but I'm in a shit mood from the football.
A mate of mine supports Sunderland and it's driven him to distraction this season. They play shit against poor teams and deservedly lose, they play well v mid table and have been very unlucky, they play out of their skin v top teams.
Can't wait for them to go down to be honest.
