Hirving Lozano | PSV Player

This has bollocks written all over it I reckon.Like a poster said I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up at Benfica or Porto after this saga.

The same thing happened when Hector Herrera moved from his mexican club to Porto. He was also extensively linked with United, with all kind of presidents, father-in-laws and other relatives coming out with daily statements.

Same vice president was quoted back then. Crazy rumors like this are common place in Liga MX.

See when this happens, I want someone to go straight back to talk to the Father in law and see him react.
The president says it's not true, but according to that football365 article above the vice-president told ESPN that they were in talks with us. Very hard to know what is really going on, if anything.

Pachuca boss Diego Alonso insists Manchester United are yet to make an offer for Hirving Lozano.

Despite claims from Lozano's father-in-law that the attacking midfielder would be on his way to Old Trafford shortly, Alonso expects him to stay in Mexico.

He said: “I am very calm because I know he [Lozano] has spoken with club officials. He spoke with Jesus Martinez and they explained to him the reality of the situation.

“And the reality is that today he must be fully focused on Pachuca because there is absolutely nothing [with Manchester United]," Alonso told reporters, as quoted by Univision.

“Logically there is going to be interest [from big clubs] but there have been no offers. If we get an offer he will be the first to know it, but we plan for El Chuky to be with us throughout the rest of the season."

El Chuky? What's that translate to? Or is it just some nickname for Hirving? Google kept trying to reference Chucky, the possessed doll.

Googles right, it is chucky, the possessed doll. He used to jump out from under team-mates beds to scare them.

El Chuky means The Chuky for those of you who don't speak Spanish. Hope that helps.

This went pretty quiet didn't it? Watch how there's some headlines tomorrow after those two goals.
He's already confirmed for the Olympics so I'm guessing he's staying in his club until January at a least.

This guy really looks like the real deal and he looks like he would fit well in Mourinho's team. Love his speed and seems to have the right understanding of the game. And the most important thing, he can score goals.

This season - Total 16/17: 27 games, 18 goals, 6 assists

Great video:

Any fans watch this guy regularly? I got the opinion there was genuine interest in him from us last summer and he as being monitored. Wonder if we decided to pursue Mkhytarain instead? Only seen youtube so can be misleading but he looks like a good talent. Not seen any mention of him in ages

I love how well placed his finishes are, was well up for us signing him last summer. Would love to see him given a chance here.

Rumor is he'll soon be signing for Celta de Vigo.

This has been a big rumor the past week and it was also reported Real Sociedad was also interested in him but today after nowhere it is now reporter Manchester City has bought him but he'll be playin on loan in PSV for a season or two.

Is that right? I'd prefer him in a stronger league, but PSV is a good team, I suppose.

It seems City puts up the money for the player to be bought but he's parked 2 years in PSV. PSV has been having good results with Mexican players BTW.

Strange to see a team with the history of PSV being a feeder club for an outfit like City. Goes just to show how much money there is in the PL now.

Who have they fed to Citeh exactly?

Not anyone... yet. If this Lozano deal is true than you cuold say PSV is becomming a City feeder club. They also loaded Zinchenko this season and this could just be the start. Maybe in the future our Eredivisie will be a a feeder league for the EPL with every English club 'owning' one of the clubs in the Eredivisie. So far its Chelsea - Vitesse and City - PSV.. maybe United could get Ajax since Ajax always has good young talent. There was a rumor about United + Utrecht not that long ago though

Lately he's been linked to Celta de Vigo, Real Sociedad, PSV and now it seems City are in for him and planning to send him on loan to PSV which imo is the best thing for Hirving, as PSV has become a good place for mexican players to develop.

Oh and Hirving scored a goal on yesterdays WC qualifier game against Honduras after 5 mins of being subbed in.

I would also prefer him to play in Spain for Celta de Viga or Real Sociedad but I don't know if it's true the City-PSV deal then it isn't very bad if he can later play in Premier League.
