Heroes - Season 3

Spoiler. Not everybody watches this show the minute they wake up.

Shit episode that

Agreed, the lack of quality is very evident. It was also sooo cheasy... "That's what brothers do, they look out for each other" , "Hey cheer-leader", "Lylle style",... Makes you want to puke.

I thought Claire and Elle should have started kissing in celebration when they stopped the plane from crashing it would have added a lot to the episode.

It was very cheesy, especially "Ok Dorothy, then we're off to see the wizard".

Anyone else think Milo Ventimiglia is a rubbish actor?

How easily manipulated is Sylar? They just tell him stuff and he believes it directly.

Claire and Elle.

Yeah he's a bit too easy to convince.

To clarify, was it Sylar who saved Peter when he fell 7 stories? Slowed him down with his powers or something?

Must have been. Arthur Petreilli clocked it though. Why didn't he point out to Claire that she could heal him by giving him some blood?

Fairly good episode imo. Plot's moving along nicely. Cringeworthy one-liners though.

Agreed, I'm glad its eased up a bit. Hiro's angle is building up nicely, rather than express-training through like previous episodes/series.

I think Sylar's change from evil to good (I'm assuming he's not falling for Arthur's tricks) was well done, contrary to what some might think. All throughout his life, he's wanted to be 'special' and be the 'most special' and finding out that he's actually the son of someone who has powers gives him some of the structure that he was missing. He became greedy for power because he wanted to get away as far as possible from being associated as the son of a watchmaker (though calling himself Sylar was still the reminder and his motivation for his hunger). I think finding out that Angela's his mum's a good thing because then he found that there were constructive ways to use his power rather than just hunt for more.

they did tie it all in pretty well in that ep

left me wanting more which can't be a bad thingI suppose

So to recap then...the good guys appear to be those on Angela's side, and the bad guy's on Arthur's side?

Or is that too simple?

I like the new Sylar and Noah is being a tosser....BUT....why was Sylar's future son called Noah - eh, eh?

Sounds spot on. I reckon Noah will save Sylar's life in some way hence leaving him with an emotional attachment... or a more adventurous reason is that they encounter someone with the ability to turn adults into children and Noah gets turned into a chlid then Sylar feels responsible for him for some reason. It could happen.

You should pass your ideas on to the scriptwriter. :)

I think Sylar seemed to love the child too much for it to be Noah Bennett though.

Adam can heal himself - does that apply if you've just shattered? Seems a bit odd to bring him back just for that.

When is the next episode?
Same time, next week.

In which case, Sylar gets someone up the duff, and could it be Elle... seeing as how the last episode unfolded? Possibility or perhaps slightly wrong. As for Adam, he needs his brain to heal (hence the only way to kill him, Claire and Peter before, was a bullet through the brain). Adam's brain looked disintegrated to me, no chance of him returning to save the day.

I must have missed something because I didn't see Elle.

And I've never understood how Nathan and Peter survived the nuclear bomb. Well Nathan anyway - I presumed that Peter healed himself, but I would imagine being turned into an exploding nuclear bomb would damage the brain a tad.

Ah, what I said about Elle, watch the episode that will show on BBC 3 tomorrow at 10.00pm and it'll make sense. I assume you're following it on the Beeb because they're a week behind. As for the nuclear bomb in the first season... Peter healed himself, and then he got Adam's blood for Nathan in the second season.

Hmmm.

I don't want to be picky, but wouldn't Nathan have been in tiny bits? Along with Peter's brain.

And yes, I'm following it on the Beeb, and I keep forgetting to look at BBC3.

There's always going to be flaws. They put a time traveller in so one of the questions is always going to be: well why doesn't he go back to a minute ago and change what he did? e.g. when Daphne takes the formula from Hiro, why doesn't he just go back in time now that he knows what's in the safe and not open it? Doesn't make for a good story I guess. Be careful when you're reading through this thread, I had a feeling you were watching on BBC, this thread is laden with spoilers, so I was careful :)

Thanks, I'll be careful.

Mind, I generally don't understand it after I've seen it, so spoilers won't give much away, they'll just confuse me more. :)

It was an alright episode. I feel like I learnt nothing new.

Seriously crap plot.

Its not even been going 3 whole series yet and already they are repeating things, having powers taken away and such. Its all very badly done anyway, aside from a bit of T and A this has feck all.

Episode 9 was bad.

Does this series have any 'good vs evil' thing to it? Angela Petrelli's faction seems to be the good guys one, but she was the one who let Sylar 'feed' on that one girl..
