Heroes - Season 3

Brilliant episode.

Yeah that was brilliant, easily one of the best heroes episodes I've seen. People been hating on this season just for the sake of it. First two episodes were okish but these last two episodes have been terrific imo and this one isn't gonna be easy to follow up.

You seen the preview for the next episode? Guess who is back! :D

Is Suresh turning into a vampire or demon of some kind ?

Great episode mind

I've heard lizard and fly but not quite sure what he becomes, got a feeling he is gonna be killed off this season.

Just seen the promo, who's the guy thats coming back ?

I'm 90% sure it is Arthur Petrelli

I'm not sure what the rules are on spoilers and future episode spoilers so I've put that in white text. Just wait till you find out what he is upto as well!

Anyone else see Marlo Stanfield from the wire?

Will he have a recurring role in the series?

Yeah Knox will play a big part in this season from the spoilers I have read, not a pivotal role but he will be around in most episodes.

confusing is right. I was interrupted by a phone call and a visit and got completely lost.

Interesting first episodes. But I don't like how they try to pull bunny out of a hat every 2 minutes. I agree, confusion is the right word.

Erm all I remember is Hiro said something along the lines of 'I'm going to put you somewhere where you can hurt no-one' then he put his arm on Adam. Next thing you see is Adam in a coffin banging the door from the inside and shouting.

Recent episode was great.

Oh yes I remember that now! Not clearly but somewhat...

Anyway its getting better does anyone get the feeling that they are trying to hard? Too many things going on at the same time (and normally that a good thing but here its just silly)

Enjoying it so far.

But then again, i don't have ridiculously high expectations of this show. I just watch it for some light enetertainment and on that level it delivers very well.

I'm sure it can be torn apart if you get too geeky about it all. Just look at it as a very good TV show and nothing more and you'll enjoy it more.

is there anywhere i can watch this season on the net?

Good episode.

Nooooo why did he kill Ando. And what is Suresh, a spider?

I thought they locked away Parkmans dad last season. Apparently not.

And how awesome was that black hole power!

Yeah was a good episode

I don't think Ando is dead for good, Hiro must have had a plan. Reverse time or something.

Matt's dad is a bit odd as well, at least the Linderman visions are finally explained.

think ando survives because there's the whole he kills hiro in the future. I'm sure this would make it make sense why he did it

If Linderman isn't actually real, then who brought Nathan Petrelli back to life?

can`t get into Heroes this season. It`s missing a little bit of magic from the first season.

Couple of thoughts..

Firstly, Sylar's transformation is a good idea but they have not developed any basis for it so it seems very odd with him suddenly cast in even a slightly positive role.

Same with Mohinder, they should have devoted more time on his new genes changing him.

Also this 'go to the future, see the worst happening and change it' routine is getting overdone now. They need some new formula. They have used the same thing in last two season.

Agreed, Slyar's change was way too sudden as was Mohinder's.

And this present - future bullshit is getting way too constant. You would feel shocked that they killed of Ando, but now you just know he's not dead at all and he's gonna be back, probably already in the next episode. They need to kill off a few characters, instead they're adding new ones and now we don't see some characters for a few episodes. It's getting frustrating to watch.

Aye, I wanted to mention that as well but forget. There is only so many times you can do the 'oh he is dead.........no,wait' routine. They have done this now with Nathan, Claire, Peter, Sylar, Matt and in a way with Ali larter and Lindermann character. And now Ando and Peter's dad as well.

Is "Must try harder" Their slogan or something? They need to slow the feck down! or put some better stuff on display!

 at the Hiro getting hit with the shovel bit

and Parkman: "High five, turtle".

The first two episodes were poor IMO, seems to have picked up a bit in the third though. Still not as good as the other series.

Episode 6 was excellent, best of the season and better than all of season 2. Matt + Turtle = awesome.

What I don't get is why didn't peter obtain sylar's power and therefore 'hunger' when he met him? Furthermore why did he ask present good/evil sylar who can't control the hunger to help him.... to control the hunger, surely a quick trip to future sylar would have been simpler?

Theres a lot of stuff like that. I always wonder why when Hiro fecks things up he doesn't go back in time and fix things. He could go back right to the start of any of this and prevent it all.

You're of course right and I think it takes a leap of faith to just let the show run its course and enjoy the ride without being annoyed by these things but for that to work the story needs to be good, heroes is starting to recapture its form but it still isn't quite there yet and I find myself nitpicking the little things.

Unlike the other characters Peter has been around Sylar can use more than one ability and while around him he has used telekinesis hence why Peter has not absorbed that ability.

As for controlling the hunger he is desperate to stop it that is why he asks Sylar. He just about got back alive last time he went to that future and Peter is being actively hunted. The present Peter is no way near as powerful as the future peter who also is struggling to keep himself alive so would he really want to risk going back? Also as for controlling it, as we saw with Sylar in the future he has something else that preoccupies him and like with all powers they get easier to control as time passes. Another thing is Peter isn't exactly one of the sharpest guys around! Arthur, Angela, Nathan and Sylar are all smart but not Peter, I'd check the milkman :p

They covered that in the second episode, the butterfly effect. Future Peter came back to sort things out and looks like he has messed things up even more, Hiro went back in time couldn't save that girl who remembers a lot and created Adam Monroe into this villain who kills his father and almost lets this virus out. Speaking of Adam Monroe a shame to see him go, really thought he was one of the better characters on the show and one of the highlights of a pretty average Season 2. Think they will kill Maya off next, apart from her being good looking she doesn't add much else! Suresh is another I feel who might be in line for the chop. Would be a shame to see him go though.

Great episode !

 @ Ando "They all alike"

Hiro "Thats racist"

His scenes with that African guy were hilarious, thought the comedy between these two hadn't been as good as Season one but these scenes were hilarious. Honestly didn't see him being hit with a shovel for the 2nd time coming, you think right he is gonna get this guy now but he gets hit again lol. Might be some spoilers here but the African gives him interesting advice, advice that he takes and puts into motion in Episode 8. To understand what is to come in the future and how to tackle it he must first understand their past, we have another flashback episode coming. I'll say no more....

why does Peter get the desire for more powers along with Sylar's ability? And is he rid of it now, does Arthur Petrelli have it?
