Henrikh Mkhitaryan | José says "We have three"

I reckon if the £26m sums reported are correct he will have a meltdown. I know most German media reported 40m Euros or thereabout, but they also reported 15-20m for Schweinsteiger.

Don't think BBC would have reported £26m if they didn't have a good source. Probably some bonuses involved though.

Someone on here made a good point about it being likely the currencies and exchange rates were mixed up to get to that figure.

Dortmund wanted €40m which was £33m, €33m is £26m so it's easy to see where that figure might have come from.

Don't see it being announced today, with the Giggs news and all.

Daniel Taylor saying we are still yet to agree personal terms with him, and he also needs work-permit.
Plus, his wage demand is huge.
Personal terms are normally back channelled and agreed well in advance of the club to club fee.

re: Dortmund's butthurt 5th place dig.

At least we won a trophy last year.

Magnificent!! This is turning out to be some weekend. I can't understand why United are never on the ball about announcing stuff.

Mino Raiola is on a roll here! Can he make it 3/3? I wonder how much Mourinho is influencing these transfers...

Places in the front four assuming we play a 4231 will be hard to come by.

Ibra, Mata, Rooney, Jesse, Martial, Rashford, Memphis all fighting in multiple positions.

I have a feeling we'll be playing Jose's favoured 4-3-3 next season.

-------------- GK --------------

RB ------ CB ----- CB ------- LB

------------- DM --------------

------ CM ---------- CM -------

Mikhitaryan -- Zlatan --- Martial

That's how I think we'll play. We need one top class midfielder and possibly a CB then we're done.

I've seen that cheeky dig as well in the statement  I thought it was a miss translation at first. It's not our fault that the man wants to join one of the biggest clubs in the world. When the big boys come knocking that's the result.

The English media clueless again continuing to report that nonsense 26m£ for him, when in reality it is more around 35m£ and thats not a bargain at all. People who believe that laughable 26m£ number are as clueless as the English media. After the disgusting behaviour by Raiola and Mkhitaryan (again), who did the same dirty stuff with Shakhtar before joining Dortmund, its no wonder that they are having a dig at him. Raiola and Mkhi have been classless and thats what you get. Dortmund got what they wanted and squeezed over 40m€ out of United for a guy with just one year contract, so in the end both parties are happy. I m pretty sure, they wont deal with Raiola ever again.

Come on man, why do you really salty about this. We always been nice to you. We signed Kagawa from you lot for almost 15m then we literately gave him back to you for free. Then we loaned Adnan, although he was shite there it doesn't hide the fact that we actually care for you lot and trying to be nice. Don't you remember back then when almost of caftards here basically adopt Dortmund as their second team and how we always praise on how great atmosphere at Signal Iduna. We've always been nice to you. However I'm sure deep down you know that this wont be the last player we or Bayern gonna sign from you guys. And I personally would like to thanks you guys in advance for take care of Dembele while he was there. :)

We are always so slow confirming deals.

Tbf, if you look at what has to be done around a signing can see why this announcement and Zlatan's are well ahead of clubs. Club have all the media stuff to do - photos, interviews, programmes etc. Look how much stuff they put out around Zlatan signing yesterday. All Dortmund have done is say he is going. On top of all that other stuff, he hasn't done his medical and some saying even his personal terms have not yet been finalised.

I did the filling for you. Hope you like it

Hello, slig.. now stop posting from aliases

Actually i'm kind of hot about Dortmund's little 5th place/Europa dig. I enjoyed watching them and if there was a team in Germany that I'd root for it WAS them but feck them after that.

While they do have CL it will be no different than what happened last year to them in EL, they'll get through the group stage but only this time they'll be tossed out in the round of 16 because they likely won't be playing those big game bottlers Spurs and then all they'll have to play for is the German cup because Bayern will be at least 10 points ahead of them by that time and then they'll lose again in the final like they have the last 3 seasons.

In fact I will be rooting for Dortmund to get knocked out in the group stages of the CL and end up in the EL.

Yeah but their favorite Hipster now manages the dippers and they both sing YAWN and the scousers hate united ;)

Those Dortmund fans will be fuming when we come calling for Weigl in a season or two.

Mata is toast, get used to it.
Hes a very good two footed intelligent attacking player, with pace. Not sure whether he will play on the right or through the middle, he can do both.
If he plays to his potential he can be one of the best in the league, but we don't know how he will settle.
One thing for sure is that he has the type of skills we have been sorely missing in the team since ADM

Bold prediction to say he could be the best in the league. If you were comparing him to another player in the league who would it be?

Knowing Mourinho he will probably go more Carrick or Bastian than Schneiderlin for that no. 6 spot. Morgan will take the no. 8 spot and should excel there.

no , we need one. a leader who is a cb. wouldn't mind him being a bit nasty. mike is good but soft IMO.

Do you know if Mkhitaryan can play in a midfield of 3?

Mkhitaryan - CM
