Hector Herrera

In before Timmy from South Park joke.

After signing Kagawa, Powell and RVP we clearly need to balance out our ugly quota again.

His gurns are worthy of Phil Jones

Looks like an even more retarded Ribery or Di Maria. Maybe even the freak child of them both. Promising.

Was in Mexico on holiday last year, a few of the barmen were Pachuca fans. Got talking football, United, Hernandez that sort of thing. I asked who their star men were, and a couple reckoned this lad would go far. I know feck all else about him though.

Weren't we linked with that Argentine who's at River Plate? Clearly didn't materialize.

Wouldn't be suprised if this was the same.

We seem to have signed a lot of players this summer. So far RVP, Kagawa and Powell. Have any of Buttner, Henriquez or this guy been anywhere near confirmed?

Buttner - I'd say sometime this week.
Henriquez - After the Santos game on Thursday - so most likely the weekend.
Herrera - Only been linked with him once, I have no idea how reliable the source that started this thread is.

I personally believe we're done in the market now. I doubt that one player Fergie was talking about was Buttner, but unless a catastrophy occurs tonight then I expect Fergie to retaliate this week that he's happy with the squad.

Is this the ugly mutha who is going to deal with a guy like Fellani, if so, get him signed up.

According to wikipedia, he has 55 goals in 27 appearances. Not bad, even if it is in the Mexican league.

Let this happen, maybe we can put an end to this midfielder debacle.

Don't lie they wouldn't let you into Mexico. A few of my old players are Pachuca lads Ive asked them what he is like via facebook, waiting for a response.

He is actually one of the biggest promises of the Olympic winning team. Box-to-box midfielder, it wouldn't hurt us to try him out for a decent price below 5m. I mean, if we got Bebe for 7m we wouldn't harm ourselves trying Herrera. He could very well develop into a quality midfielder.

He's a midfielder, we don't sign those. I don't care what some random club president says.

For those who have watched him play, would he have helped us in anyway yesterday? Or the Fellaini show would have still gone on?

When i google him, "they say... He.is.a.winger."

Oh well, knew it was too good to be true.

When was the last time you signed an actual central midfielder?

Carrick in 2006? Anderson wasn't really one when he signed in 2007...

I think Fellaini might have been kicked a few more times. At 5'11 he'd have stood more of a chance at challenging for the ball, he scored a header at the olympics I guess and as far as I'm aware he's supposed to be a decent header of the ball so... Maybe? Honestly dont know as at the Olympics he was playing RB most of the time if I recall.

Have an update from a few of my old mexican players via facebook, He is much admired by the Pachuca faithful it seems, he is a box to box type more than a destroyer from what I gather. I personally havent seen much of him at all but they seem to like him. The United story is making the rounds over there and its supposed to be valid.
