And look at this beauty...
I never bought an oppo's shirt, except an Arsenal one 15 years ago or so as a present to my cousin. It felt dirty, but not as dirty as having to wear that Gerrard shirt at Anfield.Anyone done an @Rooney in Paris or an @Raees yet?

For example, if you like Sterling and you want his shirt, but are a Manchester United fan, you end up buying an opposition teams kit. What does that have to do with wearing the kit of a side you don't support?

I think that really depends on what shirt you're wearing. The right one is more hipster/retro fashionista than chav. Can I redact my answer to; wearing football jerseys makes you look like a chav?
If you are an adult Manchester United fan and you buy & wear a Manchester City shirt, I would laugh and point at you.
Of course this is just my opinion, I don't expect everyone to agree.

Correction: I own an AFC Bournemouth top which I bought when they got promoted to the championship.I don't own any other British shirts other than United. I do have a ton of international club shirts that I've been collecting since i was a teenager though.
Why the feck you'd buy the Inter Milan monstrosity is beyond me.
