once he was allowed to elbow hatton to keep him off him it was only a matter of time that hatton would get frustrated and make mistakes.

You can't doubt Ricky's effort and spirit, but ti simply wasn't enough. Didnt have the power to truly trouble Mayweather, and due credit must go to him for how he showed his class as the fight went on.
Thought Hatton might have thrown more body shots than he ended up doing but there you go.
