I can guarantee if multiple men were beating your legs hard enough for them to threaten ending your career, and for you to fear for your life thinking you might die, you’d have bruises.

Kidnappers don’t tend to kill the kidnapped. Kind of ruins the whole demanding a ransom thing they’ve got going on.
Im sure he can prove, or no-one can disprove any word he said, it would have been legally vetted. There was nothing new there anyway except for the emotions, the statements were already in the public sphere.
