Schmeichel's Cartwheel
Correctly predicted Italy to win Euro 2020
About 1 month a year. When is Tuanzebe fit?

It's by no means an ideal partnership, and highlights the shocking lack of quality we have there. But is Maguire more reliable than either of those in his current form? I'm doubtful. On his day, definitely. Not right now.
Yeah, it's sad to see.Sad how petty some of our fans have become, mocking and making fun of our own player. Shit happens in everyone's life. Maguire is going through his bad patch, if you cannot back him then at least stop mocking him.
And it seems reading some idiotic comments some really want him to fail and are taking pleasure at his mistakes.
We've seen this partnership. One is meek and the other reckless, neither is good in the air or has an ounce of leadership. It is asking for trouble. If they start as a pairing in a back 4 I predict we'll concede at least 3 goals on Saturday.
He’s not this bad. He’s in terrible form because he had no time off to get his head sorted after a season where he was overplayed/then had the whole court shite in the summer.
Really needs 2 weeks to sort his head out and recover but he won’t get it because of your poor recruitment. (In before someone says he’s an example of that too).
Good post. Some actually want him to fail, if that means United lose a few game, hey who cares? As long as they get their ‘I told you so’ moment. Is Bailly even available? Last I read was he was injured, which was clarified by him as fatigue.
I think there comes a time when you can't even get annoyed with a player anymore because at the end of the day Harry's wellbeing is much more important than what he does on a football field and he's clearly going through an extremely rough period in his life, Ole would be selfish to play harry this weekend, or the next, or even the one after,
He needs a break out the limelight, headspace, time to regroup and regain focus, the media are thriving of his downfalls and every miss pass, slack tackle, anything to aim an attack on and put him in a headline is just mounting on the pressure, twitter is absolutely vile right now with all these stupid football twitter media accounts hounding him but would be the first to pay condolences if anything were to happen to him.
Now all players make mistakes & if you look hard enough you could make a reel of Ronaldo missing chances but this nonsense that his rather marked drop in form happened suddenly is simply untrue.Sad how petty some of our fans have become, mocking and making fun of our own player. Shit happens in everyone's life. Maguire is going through his bad patch, if you cannot back him then at least stop mocking him.

He’s not as talented as Lescott was.In Rio/Campbell era he would be considered alongside the Lescott type level, he's a good defender but not top bracket and never has been.
Lindelof's fault ?
I don't understand why our fans are against him. He's clearly going through a rough patch and it's obvious that whatever happeneed in Greece is affecting him. He needs some time off and support from our fans yet some are so keen to throw him under the bus. Cretins I tell you
I agree, he needs an arm around him and a break. He's not a terrible player but he needs time off to work through whatever it is that he is going through.
Put the trust in him to come back like he was (a solid performer, but not world class) and he will want to repay that trust.
Sadly you re correct. Don't take the sickos too seriously though. This time last year they were engaged in the silly Brexit FC frenzy.
indeed.I agree he's in poor form and it seems the negative press and that debacle in Greece may be getting to him. He's also been scrutinised a lot more recently, his price tag and his captain status.
But this "get him therapy", "needs a long break from football", "take him out of the squad" stuff.
Do people not realise who our other centre backs are? Bailly and Lindelof as a pairing is an unmitigated disaster. Only ever functional when they had papa Fellaini holding their hands, doing the dirty work. Tuanzebe is only just back from injury - do people want Ole to do his thing and flog him to death as soon as he's back to training? I'm sure Ole is only too happy to oblige.
The market is closed. He'll need to play.
100% this. All the posts about him being shite are clearly off the mark. He’s not a bad defender. Clearly he’s got a lot going on off the field AND on it and he needs some time away.I think there comes a time when you can't even get annoyed with a player anymore because at the end of the day Harry's wellbeing is much more important than what he does on a football field and he's clearly going through an extremely rough period in his life, Ole would be selfish to play harry this weekend, or the next, or even the one after,

Hired goons?Lindelof's fault ?
Lindelof is our only other CB who s not injury prone.I think he needs a rest but for those saying he should be dropped: who are we going to play instead?
We have some sad human beings on this forum.
The club and fans have to support the player to help him get through this mess. We're not blessed in this area and we're not going to bring in any players in this position any time soon. It's in everyone's interests for him to get over this slump and to do it quickly. This is what Ole is there for, to help the player improve after this disappointing start.
but you can''t make a silk purse from a sow's ear
first of all he has been a let down since the restart so its not just Greece and thus I would rather he not get back to what he was thanks!
Yes, this Greece thing may have affected him somewhat but he will need to pull himself together and FAST.
he isn't the first footballer to get arrested, get in a fight, or go to court. John Terry was nearly prosecuted as a racist for crying out loud, still banned by the FA and had a SCANDAL involving a teammates wife! Suarez had all his biting nonsense as well with all the racist attention but got on with it. I recall Gerrard beating up a bouncer. He needs to pull himself together and get over it because as Bastian says below, we have f all else to play CB. it will be even worse if Bailly and Lindelof play!
indeed.
Nope. I agree. Harsh yellow. You'd think given he was on a yellow already he may have got away with it.I think I must be the only one who thought he was unlucky with that second yellow.
Got away from him, he won the ball, then unfortunately momentum took him into someone.
Saving himself for saturday though...smart

Yeah but imagine if we lose a game. I can already hear Keane ranting about lack of character, mental strength, not captaincy material etc.
And if turns out we do well, there'll be others after him.
'Manchester United keep first clean sheet of the season after dropping £80m CB'
He can't win in that scenario.
So young that Lingard is older than him.he's a young lad after all.
Totally agree mate. The quality of the posters on the Cafe has been going down over the years and you have to really scroll through any thread these days to find any sensible posts. It's no coincidence that for example two of the sensible posts in this thread have come from yourself and @SilentWitness who have both been around for years. It's good to hear an actually sensible opinion amongst an absolutely shimmering pool of clowns just slating him.
It's like they don't recognise that some massive legal issue may just have messed him up. Especially mixed in with the very unusual and short pre-season, that has seen most of our players look well off the pace.
We carry Lindelof at the best of times, and Bailly can't be relied upon at all.
With Jones and Rojo the other options, both of whom make Tuanzebe look invincible versus injury, then there really is no other option.

Yep, needs a break - maybe get himself off somewhere warm for a fortnight, let his hair down.
