Here is what he said when he signed his new 5 year deal in 2018:
"I'm looking forward to the future, it's been fantastic to consistently get in the Champions League so I'm really excited to have another go at that, and with the Premier League and FA Cup, we'll look to go as far as we can."
^ he had faith in the project with Tottenham and thought they were going places. They are now set for back to back years without the Champions League, they have regressed in managerial style and the side is disjointed. He is now 27 and the latest he has to say:
“I always like to be focused on one goal and one job and that’s to finish strong with Spurs, win these qualifiers with England and hopefully go on and have a great Euros. Look, I try to stay out of that speculation as much as possible. I’m fully focussed on doing the job on the pitch from now until the end of the summer and then we’ll see where we go from there.”
Before he was vocal about his commitment to Spurs and would talk about seeing a future there. Now, we've seen Ornstein confirm he wants to leave, James Drucker backing it up and Kane's own quotes with an ominous "lets see what happens in the summer" vibe. The writing is on the wall with regard to whether he wants out at this stage.
