We're after Ings instead, that'll teach them.
Kane is a very good player, a great one even. But his injuries and age are not that great, besides his price would be over 100M.Now you're just being absurd. If you've nothing better to contribute than twisting arguments into strawmen, then don't bother.
The Times and The Guardian both going with Kane to City story, I'd be inclined to agree.

Well you're the one saying Haaland is better because he has more CL goals.
Just pointing out the levels of hypocrisy

If City do plan on talking to Spurs, it's because they are willing to pay big. My guess is they will use players to get the cash payments to around £100m.As Spurs supporter I just don’t see it happening this summer. I think this is one of those where the groundwork is getting set up for something next year because the deal is so big.
I don’t really see Kane kicking up a fuss as he’s a supporter of the club and I don’t see Levy selling to any rivals (the Chelsea links are genuinely laughable) I also don’t see Levy selling for a penny less than 120 million which I think is a price point that’s going to mean the deal can’t really get done this year. There’s not really enough pressure on the club to sell really with Kane still having several years left on his contract and the fact that he won’t be kicking up a fuss.
It sucks as a Spurs supporter but ultimately I understand it. I’ll just have to enjoy the time with him that we’ve got left.

Tottenham won't be declining a £100m+ bid for Kane. If buying clubs (with much bigger pockets than Spurs) are hesitant spending such a huge amount on Kane, then Spurs will be equally wary of rejecting 9 digit bids for their soon to be 28 year old striker. Are 2 or 3 more years of Harry Kane worth rejecting such huge offers for, keeping in mind that they can buy 2 or 3 £40m players to reinvigorate the squad?

We have Jesse as a wildcard. But the problem is, are Spurs interested in him?
They'd be mad not to be, he's an award winning attacking superstar.
Yep. People forget that was really got spurs back on track after losing Bale was Kane turning into a WC strikerThis rarely happens. It's more likely that the sale of Kane will have them permanently in the Europa League.
28 ex Spurs players have gone on to win 87 trophies since Spurs last lifted one

Tomas Pekhart: 1x Czech League, 2x Polish League, 1x Israeli League
Absolutely, and Pogba isn't that player from deeper, because defensively he isn't good enough. So you either buy for the role in question or promote from within, with a view to developing the player for the role.
Not related to your post this, but Castles is full of shite. Him and that McGarry will fondly be remembered by me for reporting that Werner's agent had told us to forget about bidding, he is going to Liverpool or signing a new Leipzig contract, and literally a day later we'd agreed to sign him, and they then backtracked massively on the following podcast, it was fecking cringe hahahaDuncan Castles on Transfer Window podcast yesterday said Utd have already had contract talks with his representatives to get an idea of the package he would want circa 300k a week. We are the club most advanced in talks with his representatives though that doesnt mean much at moment.
A few weeks back it was mentioned on that show that the glazers were ready to signoff on a marquee signing this summer as an attempt to quell the fan discontent and that Kane was top of the wanted list.
I can see levy dragging this out all summer. £80-90mil sounds right to me in this environment. Whoever gets him is getting a helluva goal machine. Really hope its us and not city. Though you cant rule Chelsea out.
His podcast is a decent listen if you have no life but everything should be taken with pinch of salt. They don't have credit themselves for fecking everything thoughNot related to your post this, but Castles is full of shite. Castles also said Gabriel was joining us, and it was a done deal, hes playing for Arsenal now. Full of shit
