Harry Kane | Bayern Munich player

He must know he wasted his career at Spurs. I’m sure he’s loving life but imagine him at 25 doing this and being able to plan a move to Madrid etc in a few years and sample the style of football in most top leagues

Who cares? Whatever happened let him to us and that’s all that matters.

This guy.. he‘s amazing - another great goal some minutes ago.

Madrid had Benzema but he could've been amazing with Messi after Suarez's decline.

Madrid also had CR7 as their striker and Benzema played around him. Kane could have replaced CR7 when he moved to United.

He must seethe at being denied that move to City a few years back

You’ve seen Kane and Lewa up close for your team. Who’d you take in their primes?
Kane. Without hesitation. I knew he was good and wanted him badly. But seeing him with better teammates is mind boggling. I expected a lot, but I didn’t expect this. The man is beyond words.

Kane.

He is a bit slower than Lewy, but even a bit more lethal in front of goal and the way better team player.
He is just incredible.

Which feels insane to say because Lewa was fecking incredible and one of best strikers of his generation. But yeah, Kane has a lot more to his bag in terms of playmaking and is every bit as lethal in front of goal. Lucky feckers to have had both.

We know he’s past it, the caf experts have told us that for five years, having told us he’s a one season wonder for the five years before that

This guy is so good. He reminds me of Platini. I'd love to see a team with great players built around him in a way similar to Barça-Messi. Unfortunately, it seems like Bayern wants him more like a pure forward.

Guirassy now has 15 in 9. Despite having this amazing run Kane only leads because Guirassy was injured. That's the most absurd stat of this season so far I think
Also Lewandowski's record is 16 in 11, so it's another one up but only just.

It was like that in the beginning, Kane and Tuchel even said so. But the last 5-10 games he dropped deep more often and played many exceptional passes that especially Sané uses with his great runs.

Things are really starting to click in our attack and Its beautiful to watch.

Although, I don't think it's fair to omit Kane's creative influence as it doesn't paint the entire picture. Just in league performances :-

Lewandowski had 16 goals in 11 games, with 0 assists for 16 direct goal contributions.
Kane has 17 goals in 11 games, with 5 assists for 22 direct goal contributions.

Fair point. Kane is currently doing everything Lewy did, and then adds a whole bunch the latter didn't. If he can keep it up he will outshine Lewandowski's legacy quickly.

I predicted at the start of the season, injuries permitting, that he would get 40 goals in all competitions this season. I think I may have been too conservative.

40 in the league seem conservative by now

We know how good he is, we've seen him for England for years. He regularly scores hat-tricks against the likes of Costa Rica.
I think we should really stop using the "he doesn't score consistently against elite teams" narrative.

The same is true for basically every elite goalscorer.

Even CR7 was known for boosting his stats against lesser opponents, while many of the critical goals in the big games were scored by the supporting cast (Ramos, Bale, Benzema).

Same for Lewandowski.

Elite teams take away the superstar upfront and dare the other players to beat them.

The only outlier was prime Messi because he was just otherworldly and too good to be controlled.

No one said that, I said playing against teams that are clearly a much lower level is always going to mean he scores a bagful of goals because he's a very good forward.

Kane was the missing piece last season for Bayern and then some. He’s done better than I’d have imagine him to.

Matter of time before he wins a trophy there.

He could potentially win the Ballon D'Or. For me he is currently the best striker in the world. If Bayern win the Cl, England win the Euros and Harry Kane plays a big part in both, he will win it.
