Harry Kane | Bayern Munich player

I’m still pissed off that I got a thread ban for quoting QatarFC when I see this guy and other awful tweets in the club sale thread. There’s people with like a 1000 followers getting quoted. Ben Jacobs is a fraud. Has been for 2 years now.

Rare mod W.

There's no way we should pay more than 60 million for him 30 years old one year on his contract?

If Bayern can't get him for 60 million we have no chance
Bayern have offered €100mil (£85mil) for kane according to reports from germany.

Just feels like a strange career move for 'Arry. Of course he'd win trophies with Bayern, but they're not quite at the highest level in Europe anymore, so he'd only really get that in the Bundesliga. Given how much he's a media darling in the UK, really feels like he'd be missing out.

I think he'll stay at Spurs for another season, make it a farewell tour, play really well and then come to us next year absolutely shattered and on the decline, at massve wages, while we claim to have not purchased a striker because we were waiting patiently to make him the new face of United. For 18 months, after which his clear decline will force us to begin yet another search for a decent young CF.

I'm surprised Kane doesn't want to stay in the EPL & beat Shearer's record, I think Shearer will be pretty happy to see Kane leave the EPL.

Again with the Spurs digs, u think winning silver wear means more than actually doing something very few people actually do? We will agree to disagree, sure a trophy means a lot, but it’s not gonna stand long in history. I was a tad hyperbolic perhaps.
And when Haaland doesn't go to Real soon and stays many more years in the PL, all Kane's effort will be for naught.

Yeah, can’t see the Bayern move tempting him. The reports from Germany that he’s greenlighted the move make me think it’s a kick up the arse to other suitors and Tottenham that he wants to get on with it

Tony O Neill said pretty much that too but not sure I believe it will make us take action

Which ones? The bid from Ornstein (which I believe to be most credible) was 70m eur
Was on the automated transfer tweets feed when i looked at it an hour ago. Cant recall who.

His team has no creativity from midfield, in fairness. I don’t think he drops so deep for England as he does for Spurs.

He definitely did in the world Cup just gone. He was constantly dropping into the midfield/10 area.

If it looks like spurs will sell, I’d be shocked if we didn’t go back in. Remember we ‘walked away’ from Antony last year too

Ajax were significantly more open to selling so think it's an unfair comparison. Just trying to think of the last case of this between two teams in the same league where seller was adamant

Call me silly but this is one transfer I always expected to happen despite all the chatter making us think this won't. There has been way too much smoke over the years for United to not stay interested. Unless he wants to give up on the all time PL goal scoring record where else is he going to go? Another London club? Surely not. Pool? Not an option after last season. If he wants to prove he can lift a club as much as an Ibra or RvP in recent times - we're the only game in town. Even if its not this year, I expect us to have a pre arrangement the following.

I won't eat my hat, but I'll happily skip a beer if I'm wrong.

The fact he refuses to stand up for himself and push a deal through or hand in a transfer request is so telling of his character.

He's 30 years old this month, won almost nothing with Spurs and is still happy to let other people decide his future.

Show a bit of character, does he even want to win anything?

The argument of him not wanting to damage his Spurs legacy is nonsense too. He's given them everything, 99.9% of their fans understand he's not got many years left and likely won't win any of the big trophies if he stays.

I just think we don't get him next summer when he's a free agent and will have pick of clubs

So you don't think he showed a desire to leave in summer of 2021. The guy went on strike which was totally out of character for him

In Harry's defense, there is no guarantee United will be trophy competitors where as at Bayern he is guaranteed atleast 1-2 a season.
I feel instead of United, if it was City he would have done everything this season to make the move because he is guaranteed trophies.

He might still come to United, but if Harry was pragmatic he would go to Bayern. Easier for Levy to sell, and guarantee of trophies. Even if he fails there like Mane, he could always come to PL.

I don’t see why he’d want to go to Munich unless he’s truly desperate to end his career with a couple of easy trophies.
I guess some of you really haven't been to Munich. It's a great City to live in and the club has got it's shit together most of the time. Bayern is a great choice for a player.

According to the reports he's happy to go to Bayern, they've bid because they've had positive conversations with him and his brother, he may yet push for it if Bayern actually bid a non insulting amount

Yeah that's the part which I fear and will be absolutely gutted if he pushes to go there

Will be real kick in the guts to any hopes we have of getting a top class striker this summer

I just find it so funny to read how some of us see other European giants, Bayern are truly one of the biggest clubs in the world and the city is a brilliant place so if the choice for me as a non United fan the choice would absolutely not be a easy one and Bayern would probably be the preferred choice.

I am just absolutely bitter we aren't in a position to give them an offer too much to reject

In all fairness, Munich is a fantastic city to live in and the name Bayern Munich is second to none.

Still, one can help but feel that Harry is sliding into a zombie-like comfort zone with Bayern, a club which can have a very poor season and still stuff more trophies from domestic competitions into their cabinet

We sit back and just let him go there then Erik has every right to go ballistic. I know for a fact I will be joining him in doing that

I see you are an optimist.

I think he’s just desperate to move at this point, and he knows he won’t be allowed to go to another English team, so he’ll take the next best thing. A European giant. I think if it was anyone but Real Madrid, if he had an actual choice he’d stay in England and join United or City over Bayern. Have a shot at winning the PL and get the all time scoring record. But the last thing he can do at his age is sit still for another year, so Bayern vs Spurs is no contest, because at his age, anything can happen in 12 months. He could pick up a serious injury, and then where would he be? 31 at the end of the season, no contract and coming back from something like an ACL. Would he get such a massive deal? I doubt it. Why take the risk? Bayern is a very good option, but I doubt it’s his optimal outcome.

I'm with the people that say we have to atleast make an effort here. Doing two deals at the same time is like black magic to our leadership so I'm not super optimistic that they'll do anything until they conclude their mind games with Chelsea.

First Utd needs to talk to the player and then makes an offer. There is no option for Kane to stay in EPL other than Spurs at the moment.

I don't think I've ever seen this guy call anything correctly.

He got everything correct about the Chelsea sale while many got it all wrong. He was getting info directly from Boehly as he is a CBS reporter and they knew each other through the Dodgers. If he is not getting info from Boehly, yeah he is not in the know.

Bayern have offered €100mil (£85mil) for kane according to reports from germany.
Tbh I found this quite strange for Bayern. When was the last time they paid more than 50m for a player? Let alone one who would be soon 30 and has only one year left in his contract. Maybe they see Kane as crucial in their CL campaign next year I think. Surely they don't need Kane to win the Bundes.

Anyway come on Levy, be yourself get stupidly greedy again and ask Bayern for 125m. So Bayern get pissed off and drop the deal :D

Makes me laugh when Goldbridge on his show tonight thought we could go back for Kane at end of August with Qatari money after signing Hojlund
