Harry Kane | Bayern Munich player

Read the last page and @balaks is one in every 3 posts…..fair play mate, you’ve got a hard shift here :lol:

I can point to very similar tweets from about 5/6 reliable journalists from the last 2 weeks odd for this Mount second bid, and we still haven't made it ,is my point. My point isn't that we aren't gonna pay for Mount, but that it's been a drawn out process so far and it will no doubt be even more excruciating with Levy and the sums he will request for Kane which is why I can't see us doing it personally

It is all speculation until there is a direct quote from the player or his manager (his brother) or the club.
You are in the wrong place if you don't want to discuss speculation :lol:

If someone tells me a piece of info, and I tell another person, then that other person knows the truth even though there are no direct quotes and he has never even spoken to the person it originated from. Yes, this may all be speculation (and probably is), but some of it could be the truth that has made its way to a journo.

I was pointing out about us not paying for Mount (when we are) as a reason as to why we’d possibly pay for Kane
Imo it makes a lot of sense if we go for Kane instead of Mount. Even for 100m. We simply must sign a #9 and Kane is probably the best you could get in this market.

Imagine having concerns about speculation in the Caf transfer forum during the Summer months? :lol:

Some posters silently prepare themselves for 9 months to unleash the fury of their inner transfer-muppet. Special stretches, exercises, diet and mental preparation! The whole nine yards just for these 3 sacred Summer months of speculative skullduggery.

The problem is we have no intention of walking away from Mount deal for that

I can see the point you are making here but maybe if Harry Kane was 34 you would have a point, but he is still in his prime, an ultimate professional and someone who doesn't create any trouble.

He would score goals for fun at United and I really don't think there would be any type of circus.

Anyone United sign gets criticism from the press

Casemiro = too old
Antony = waste of money
Eriksen = past it

Grealish = just needs time to settle
Kelvin Phillips = just needs time to settle

The press will always try and create drama at United, as that what sells.

I agree with your last point wholeheartedly, but in Kane's case, he is far too beloved by the media that they would actually praise any CL team in EPL that signs him this summer, if us or Newcastle or even Arsenal sign Kane, the media will surely write positive articles about the move, even if City who have Haaland, get him, the media will find a way to be positive about the move, Kane is England's captain, a model pro and a role model to the young generation, he is no playboy or someone who has silly controversies off the field written about him.

:lol: :lol: I know right?!

I still think we’ll sign him
Alot depends on how much levy wants to hamstring his manager next summer. FFP wise £80m-£100m gives you flexability in the market. Losing a player for free isnt good for FFP.

Certainly isn't but Levy won't want to go back on his word of not selling to a rival

we could put martial in the offer document (in white text) so its too late to notice when he turns up at the new lane for pre season training, with a limp.

So he's highly respected, not a troublemaker, would give us a perfect 3 seasons but would also be really bad business? Help me out with this one
As a striker on the pitch.

They were interested in past but not now,more likely to get joy with Maguire

we drew 6 and lost 9 games last season. apart from the handful of complete meltdowns, having had Kane instead of Weghorst / Martial would have salvaged at least 12 points i reckon, and considering we finished 15 behind, it would have transformed our season. Add in some more midfield (Mount) and defensive (?) cover, and Kane makes us challengers at the very least. is that worth 100m of someone elses money? of course it is.

Got a feeling we'll see some news on us trying to get him soon. £50m plus Sancho maybe.

From the outside perspective (I know Bayern is trying to sign Kane but I think there's a <1% chance this will ever happen), I think Levy is not trying to sell Kane at any price. He is just saying he does not want to sell to another PL club, knowing that then there is basically only Real left as a club that would interest Kane. For Real Levy will just demand a prohibitive price.

The strategy is going into the final contract year without antagonising Kane and hoping on a good run, then trying to charme him into another generous contract extension.

Yes. Kane is definitely worth the 100m outlay. Especially considering the alternatives.

Even then, he's worth it even without considering the other players potentially available.

The only news we've had from the top journalists if we have pulled out of any race to sign him. The only person who says maybe we'd be tempted for 80 is a middling Daily Mail journalist. And supposedly price isn't the problem, it's Levy, so i'm not sure where all this hype has come from all of a sudden, nobody reliable has said anything even remotely close to us being back in the hunt for him

Let me spell it out for you friend:

As a player he's a beast. As a person he's about a feeble as you can get. The type who orders tap water, eats ready salted and whose favourite colour is beige.

No way he's handing a transfer request in.

Harry Kane trying for the 52nd time to hand in a transfer request to Levy.
