Harry Kane | Bayern Munich player

I am sure Levy would price him out of a move to strengthen his hard negotiator reputation and in the process really harming Spurs. He has done it before with others players they should have cashed in on and reinvested.

Was about to post this. The Independent have been pretty clued up this summer so far. Makes sense from Levy, just price him out of a move.
They said United would announce their preferrd bidder "within 48 hours" a over week ago.

I obviously don’t know what drives Kane, if it is money, trophies or personal success but isn’t it fair to say that more than half of the high profiled PL stars who has shifted to either RM or Barca have failed miserably and ruined their careers and legacy. Bale, Hazard, Coutinho to take some of the recent. Why take that risk ? But then again given the choice between working less in Madrid or more in Manchester I wouldn’t think twice. I just hope that Kane is driven by personal success and would rate English trophies over Spanish ones.

Unless Harry forces the move, this one isn't happen. Especially for that ridiculous price. It's a shame because he'd be a perfect fit for what ETH wants to do. Who do our attentions turn to now instead?

I call bullshit on this one. Why do we need another left winger when we already have Garnacho, Rashford and Sancho who all play in that position? An out an out number 9 is what we need this summer. Failure to get one would be a bad summer for me.

Call me crazy, but I don't think there's a 1% chance Kane leaves England. I don't think we'll get him because Levy is absolute c*nt though.

I doubt it as well. He’s barely got a grasp of English after 30 years, god knows what he’d do to Spanish on a regular basis.

That being said, his feeling for Tottenham (which I reckon are genuine) might see him go abroad rather than to a rival

A system of grunts, perhaps? Loud grunt for si, quiet for no. Maybe take around a mini-whiteboard and communicate via a more updated system of elaborate cave-painting style artwork?

Possibly. I’m more concerned about the amount that spit that he’s going to produce every time he does that Spanish ‘c’ that’s more of a ‘thh’.
Every time they play Valencia 8 people are hospitalised from being drowned in Harry’s dribble spray

It's one way to keep the pitch healthy, I guess.

Spurs would be mad to turn down £100 million and risk him going for free.

You've had 8 top years from him and can still make that kind of money. It's incredible for them. With his is age and the unknown of how long he'll go on to my mind they have to take this opportunity. It's mismanagement not to.

Nope. We love to buy right winger and then to use him on the left. Going straight for left winger doesn't make sense :wenger:
Who you thinking of here? Just Sancho, or is there someone I'm forgetting? It's generally said that he played his best stuff for Dortmund from the left.

Really?
Bale was a success..he won them the CL twice
Courtouis won CL
Ronaldo, Modric were all successes
I see more successes than failures..

Probably go with Rashford and Hoijlund as strikers if we can't get Kane. Would explain the LW thing

Pretty ambivalent on this. I’m not hugely enthused at Kane coming here so him potentially going to Madrid instead would not bother me. Based on the past that would probably be easier for him than trying to get a move to United

Striking a different tone now with the Real noise...

He was the end all be all when it came to us before

It's the exact same messaging as before - we want Kane, and will try to get him, but won't get fleeced given that he'd cost nothing next summer.

I'd take Vini Jr at United in a heartbeat
If he ever becomes available we have to be all in on that one. A couple of weeks ago I would have though it unthinkable but if the racism he's been subject to continues, then he might want to leave Spain.

Back to Kane, I'm baffled about people not wanting him. A 30 plus goal a season striker in the PL is worth every money. Who cares if it's only 3 good seasons we get out of him.

Kane is the most prolific scorer in the premier league and the bloke never misses a game.....he'd be worth 100m given our desperate need for a finisher

ffs...oh to have prime Ruud with this group
