Play him over McTominay, if nothing else you don't lose anything
Which makes the Mount signing even more confusing.Neither one is even remotely similar.
Definitely thought he was going to jump up and react when the Burnley player stood over him shouting; looks like he’s matured a bit.Grew into the game in terms of his passing. And, as usually, worked his ass off, which is always a plus. Somehow he even managed not to get a yellow this time, my boy is learning!
Saying that he was outstanding is a bit much although he stood out compared to how poor our other midfielders were looking tonight.
They won't be coming backGood game from him. Don't get the comments saying he should be starting instead of McTominay. He played in a totally different position to him. Amrabat will replace McT, Hannibal will likely be competing with Mount for a starting spot, at least until Antony/Sancho come back.
Yeah - we know he can do much better than what he showed, but he was still one of the best on the pitch. Played with restraint is how I'd describe it, which is perhaps expected considering he was playing among senior players. The more he plays, the more comfortable he'll getI’m a big believer, although I do think he could have used the ball better on a few occasions. Would like to see him a little deeper.
We'll see about that but for the time being Mount will be his primary competition. They won't be coming back

So happy for Hannibal. We've been asking ourselves if he can cut it at the highest level for some time now. Hasn't looked at all out of place against Brighton or Burnley. Hopefully keeps it going (and inspires some other youngsters to force their way into the first team set up).
