Guess the next World Record Transfer

I wonder about Pogba costing that much, mainly because if the position he plays. World records go for forwards, and usually playmaker/no.10s at that, not for box-to-box midfielders. They just aren't 'galactico' enough.

Let's not forget inflation, 100m is nothing these days, it's still an expensive purchase but the worth is not what it's worth 10 years ago when Ronaldo went to Madrid for 80M.

We just spent 45M on an unknown 19 years old kid, 100M for Pogba is very realistic

Well, it was only £36m, and he is a striker.

I think £100m is a fair bit of money still, Ronaldo was 7 years ago, and inflation adjusted would be just over £90m.
 
On topic - it'll be Neymar to a English side.

Dybala to Barca, Verratti to us/Real/Barca, Neymar to whoever gives him the most money or Martial to someone.
 
Dybala is the next one. Verratti as an outsider if he wants to move on, which i doubt in the next years. Griezmann would be also a possibility if he wouldnt have his release clause, that is under the Pogba fee?

I really do rate this kid, been very impressed watching him recently with Portugal. I can see Madrid chasing him as their next big signing once Ronaldo moves on. Very jealous of Bayern for signing him, particularly now I know that Jose was interested in bringing him to United.
 
Dembele in 3 years to some English club. That is if Dortmund won't feck up the contract situation like they usually do.
 
Dybala to Barcelona would be my guess as well, although I don't think it'll happen next summer given the fact Neymar renewed his contract a few weeks ago.

As for United - I can see us signing a world-class #10 next summer, but I don't know who it'd be and it certainly wouldn't break the world transfer record.
