Group C | Slovenia, Denmark, Serbia & England

This is so dumb. I say revert to 16 teams in the Euro's ASAP.

Also, the prize of beating Slovenia a couple of years ago is getting Germany instead of whoever wins Group E (Belgium, Romania, Slovakia, Ukraine).
You do realise that regardless of how many teams are in the tournament, you’d still have to separate the teams in second and third that are tied on all metrics available.

At least this way they both go through, going out using that method would be more farcical.

Of course, but it’s this system that lead to a situation where both Denmark and Slovenia would be sure to go through by drawing their games. It’s a weird dynamic.
And some of these teams shouldn’t be here in the first place.

People who want to gate-keep football are so strange. These teams that shouldn’t be there are literally drawing with the favourites

16 teams Euros sucked, it basically meant that most countries in Europe would never experience playing on an international tournament despite having much better teams than countries from other continents that regularly play on international tournaments of their own continents.

32 teams Euro is the best option.

Like Poland, Croatia, Netherlands. They all placed 3rd or worse.

Really it's only Scotland that shouldn't have been there. They were comfortable the worst team at the Euros.

Every other team has given it a right old go and we have seen a couple of upsets already.

Must be one of the worst group in Euro history, 7 goals scored in 6 games.

So terrible we didn’t play more tactically and got more yellows in the dying minutes, that would have sent Denmark via 2nd place to the other bracket. We were one yellow away from that, and it just seems dump from Hjulmand to not have a guy on the sidelines being aware of this to take affair. As a small nation, you gotta play by every trick in the book if you wanna get far.

The route for Denmark to the final is now:
Germany > Spain > Portugal/France + A finalist. it’s basically all the favourites.

That’s how much it means not playing with the brains for 3rd and going for a yellow. As exciting as the Euros are, it’s just utopia to watch Denmark and hope to go far.

:(

I hate how absolutely pants we were. It’s been absolutely awful. We need to buck up our ideas. Whatever happened to the Scotland of last year?
