Human nature is highly hypocritical, even on here. No names, but a number of the same people who are against Mason in a red shirt again are some of the same people who watched and discussed multiple Mayweather fights after multiple domestic assults and battery spanning a decade.

How's a MF'er gonna tell folks to get off the Greenwood train and then watch Mayweather vs. Canelo, Maidana and Pac Man? Sheeeeeeit.
Feck that, they should be named and shamed. Especially when very quick to slam anyone who dares to put up any type of defence for Greenwood.

Someone on here once said it was different with Giggs as he'd been a loyal United servant for all of his career so he should be cut some slack.

People (not referring to you) can keep their virtue-signalling crap. The world of sport and entertainment is littered with names, most a lot bigger than Greenwood, who have done very questionable things and are still doing alright. Perhaps Greenwood should move to the US and take a run at being the President. He'd probably stand a better chance than putting on a United shirt.

The double standards are just off the charts but that's just social media these days. United should have just stood their ground and let the Rachel Rileys of this world just go feck off and support another club.

It's really going to sting watching Greenwood playing for another club.

Cry more I'm still thirsty.

You keep using that example like if most people who watched Mayweather fights weren't watching them to hopefully see him lose. Go support Nazio if you don't like it.

Yeah, sure folks wanted to see him lose but you're just straight lying if you don't think people were watching him to put on yet another clinic. This idea that "watching him to lose" is somehow a justifiiable a argument for watching Money Wifebeater is straight up BS.

That's like arguing that you watch Greenwood at Lazio because you hope he'll fluff all his chances. Also, proof read. Does this sound like an argument for Mason to play at United? It's an argument to put away the double standards. Don't watch one and not the other.

Mike Tyson (convicted rapist) is lauded.

Nah feck that, dont want Giggs anywhere near the club.

You're comparing an individual sport to a team sport that's where your ridiculous comparison starts to fall apart, I don't watch Serie A or Lazio regardless and doubt that's going to stop being the case if Greenwood signs there or not.

If a person wants to support Mayweather despite his transgressions that's on them, going by the amount of people who wanted to bring Greenwood back it looks like a LOT of individuals are still seemingly ok with supporting horrible people, a lot of us on here have daughters, sisters, wives, mothers and don't want to support a guy who beats women, simple as that, nobody is saying he should never play football again, I'm sure the Albanian league would love to have him.

Maybe because he redeemed himself and acknowledges that he was a horrible human being in his younger days? I mean he did do prison time for his crimes and paid his due to society.

BTW I would have no issue if in the future the lad shows he's matured, learned from his mistakes and came back, but instead hes shifting the blame like a coward and the club is covering up for him instead of getting him help and tackling his problems, typical of the spoiled athlete of today that can do no wrong as long as he's good at the sport he performs in.

Are you both ok?? Mike Tyson received a 10-year jail sentence and actually went to jail.

He's also viewed as a fecking maniac, parody and broken human being. But he holds a place in society having gone through the justice system and penal system. The only lauding is from the same misogynistic trash culture that elevated the bald sex trafficker Tate guy.

The lot of you trying to suckle Greenboys toes because his charges were questionably dropped despite irrefutable video and audio evidence is astonishing.

Go on then. Since you are ranting about it, go to the boxing thread and find all these posters that apparently have done what you are so angry about and name and shame them.
Think you're talking to the wrong person, fella. Who says I'm angry or ranting about it? Just making an observation. Try and keep up!

Extend his contract on the downlow then just wait till the next scandal blows up.

Looking like we are loaning him out then.

Always was the best move.

Leaves the door open for bringing him back in the future.

Turkey will be his destination I reckon.

Loaning him is absolutely the best option. You can’t let him leave for free. Makes zero business sense.

If we agree to a terminate his contract before the end of the window he can still sign on a free…I think.

Correct. Has to be terminated before 11pm to then be able to sign for a club after the window shuts on a free.

He'd have to waive his right through mutual termination. Otherwise he's an idiot and won't be playing football.

No, he would be an idiot if he waived his only guaranteed vehicle of income at the moment. He can always play football after.

Same goes for Maguire. The Caf experts said he was ruining himself by not taking a financial haircut to go to West Ham. Guess who just got selected for the English squad and is an injury away from playing for United?

It is not about business sense. He needs to be gone and we need to turn the page.

Apart from good PR it would make no sense for United and no sense for him I'd imagine for them to mutually terminate his contract. United should be able to get a fee at some point for him and for him its likely he'd get a wage drop if he left. If he can't be sold or loaned this window then let him train and see if it can be done in the winter window.
