Graham Potter | turns down Ajax job

He wont be sacked. But you just know if he was, we'd go on and win something

Won’t last the season at this rate

Whoever was thinking that this bruda was good for Chelsea needs to check themselves.

might actually finish lower than the team he left if how they are playing continues

He’s only been there just under 4 months with no summer window or preseason, with mainly the shite that was still there under Tuchel. But them being awful helps our top 4 chances so long may it continue.

You've spent a fecking fortune??

We know better than anyone spending a fortune doesn't mean anything if you've bought rubbish which is exactly what Chelsea have done for a good number of years now

Thiago Silva on a free was their last good signing, before that probably Kante? Might be forgetting someone

Yes, he hasn't had a summer transfer window, but they did bring in Koulibaly, Fofana, Sterling, Cucurella, Aubameyang, Zakaria and got Gallagher back from loan. There is plenty to work with.

I know this is Chelsea but i hope they don't sack him, you don't hire a manager like Potter and expect overnight success

They've burned through managers and spent a fortune even in the last few years. The Lukaku fiasco (£100m) is just mindblowing. How many times do they need to 'start again'?

Squad is stale after spending around 200M on eight players and getting rid of near 20 players in the summer

Look at our squad and tell me who should be let go, and is on their last legs. I bet its very few of the new players.. But yeh (Y) 20 players gone, 6 of which were genuine first teamers, regularly

Honestly all those signings have been gash

Yep, timing if everything though id fancy we'd beat them if the game was played tomorrow
You should have beaten us on the night, was probably our worst big game performance for years especially at home.

fofana has been good tbf. Injury was unlucky. KK has gone off the boil. cucurella was never worth 60m but still a good left back. Auba was just weird. Sterling is still good,

Like us they need better people making the decisions

exactly. A good few need to go, and be replaced. At that point judge Potter
How many managers walk into ready-made squads though? They're usually taking over for a reason. Potter took over a team full of decent assets, not a bunch of stragglers.

Conor Gallagher looked the best player, at least he had a bit of urgency. Koulibaly was shocking, bullet dodged there

He has been brilliant at every club he’s been at. He also needs time which has also been evident at every club he’s been at. Look at how much people were laughing at Arteta (still) and he’s 7 points clear in the league.
