I'm only newish into actually following golf rather than just watching the last few holes of the last rounds and I don't understand the hate but it's obviously all historic. He's the most fun guy out there, very unique style and it's fun to watch
I don't really mind Bryson. His putting stance is still ugly as sin, but beyond that he's ok. I want McIlroy to win this one, but Bryson would be a fine winner as well.

I love Pinehurst and how the misses can be punished or you can get lucky, but that punishment for McIlroy is some of the worst luck I’ve seen.

Rorys irons just aren't firing. He won't catch bryson if he keeps this up
The runoff is a mistake, if only a few inches short, but they don't always run off into such a shitty position. Seems to be struggling with his irons a bit still also. Bryson looking a bit more stressed that usual. This could be anyone's.

Yeah, he’d have known the dangers of coming up short but just how far it rolled and into the lie and the tuft of grass that it got, it was unfortunate. But that’s the beauty of this place. They all know the risks of missing. You might get away with it, but you might get badly punished.
