That’s quite unique. Then all props have to go to his swing coach for not messing with something that is only an aesthetic flaw, just as long as the club is in the proper place eighteen inches before impact.
My pain at the moment is toe strikes. Playing with pure blades so if sticks me about 20-30 meters short sometimes. Driver is mint. Hit 112mph club head speed last night.

And just like that, the tournament is wide open! As much flack the TOUR Championship gets for the starting strokes, the first round really made it a lot more exciting to follow through the weekend. Hopefully Scottie doesn't figure out how to make a put, and Morikawa cools down to let Viktor march on to viktory.

What’s up with such long birdie putts on 18?
Hovland’s on fire. There’s also 5 Europeans in the top 10 after the 2nd round of the PGA tour championship with a Ryder Cup coming up.
It’s par 5, so most of the longer putts are for eagle.
Both Hovland & Scheffler had quite long birdie putts on 18, hence my question. Just tuned in to see their putts.
Hovland got a bad bounce on the drive that pushed him right to the rough at the end of the fairway and then had no chance to get there in 2 and then fluffed the pitch in somewhat, I didn't see what happened with Scheffler
It's a slightly weird drive on that hole, the tee markers align a tad to the right side of the fairway, almost the rough. At least it did in 2006.
Yeah it was strange they marked it on sky as a 55 yard bounce/roll from where it landed on the fairway
