But then they
Is it? We didn't win stuff for three years under SAF.
Yes and if he didnt win that FA cup he was going to be removed from his post. he was seen as failure until he wasnt..

Ah, misread. Apologize.I was just pointing out that it was rewriting history to say the mood wasn't positive at the end of 20-21. Even his biggest detractors had changed their minds.

That’s not his fault. By that logic SAF was a failure since we failed to win anything after him.Context matters, in different ways. Like what state the club is at when a manager arrives. Also, a European Trophy - even Europa League level - wasn't available in the second half of the 80s.
My main problem with Solskjaer isn't that he didn't win anything. It's that he didn't build anything that could at least win after his departure. It's OK not to win if you at least build yourself up towards winning. I'm not sure at all we'll be seeing any trophies in the next 2-3 years, and even if we do it will be the smaller ones (FA Cup, League Cup, non CL European trophies), but it's what we do during those years with a view forward that will matter.

Good talk, have a good one Robbie.
Do you think United would be stupid enough to give him the job?Do you think Ole would be stupid enough to take the job again?
Utd can be stupid enough. Considering how the club is run, I wouldn't be surprised if they offered him the job.Do you think United would be stupid enough to give him the job?
