Giggs trial

More details have come out now, apparently it was his girlfriend and another member of her family. He supposedly did not harm the other family member and in the case of his girlfriend the marks are consistent with him restraining her and holding her arms which suggests she might have been trying to attack him and he was holding her off rather than actually hitting back, conjecture at this point but certainly not something he should be condemned for if true.

It seems she is upset because he was exchanging flirty texts with a lingerie model which is of course bad behavior but considering his history and the fact that she was the one getting the flirty texts when he was still married she knew he had a wandering eye. I can't recall the exact wording but there is some saying about if you are a mistress and you take the wifes place you can be certain someone else is taking yours.
 
There has never been any doubt that Giggsy is an utter complete douchebag, but lets not judge him on this matter until we know more.

I'm just glad he wont manage us anymore.
 
So the only thing he might be guilty of is having a fling with another woman, well she might have gotten a hint it might happen again before she entered this relationship?

It always sounds bad when snippets of a prosecution is reported on. I'm sure Giggs' legal team will have their own version of events.

He's plead not guilty - his legal team will have given him their opinion on whether he has a good chance of beating the charges. If there was lots of evidence against him he'd probably be pleading guilty to avoid jail time.

You'd think that evidence would be easy to get based on them accusations, texts, call logs, CCTV in the hotel...
The other accusations, the physical abuse is very difficult to prove without evidence such as pictures of bruises etc.

If these allegations are true he really is a lowlife of a human. Not that he was some glowing example prior to this story. Arguably United's best ever player but honestly I'd happily never discuss him again in relation to his footballing achievements.

Actually he would need it despite the allegations. He’s never dealt with the demons of his absentee dad who was also abusive, the death of his mum who he worshipped and all the trust issues or lack of surrounding his relationship with Rodri.
The guy needs major help but it’s up to him to seek it.
