Werder are offering close to nothing.
And Bayern looks really disjointed. Get the ball, sprint forward and try to dribble your way to goal, play it back and repeat.
The game is overall pretty boring to watch

First time in about 20 mins of play that they chucked the ball up the striker for him to hold up. They have no outlet when they win the ball back so they’re basically just booting the ball back to Bayern’s backline to restart another round of side to side passing.
 
Musiala doesn’t pass much does he? That group set up behind Kane is ideally suited to work with him though - so much pace.
 
I’m not sure this kind of set up suits Kane. He’s needs to be moving around linking up with other to create and score rather than being statuesque and fixed into the box. He’s hardly involved in the game.

Him and Musiala play in the same zone.
In this setup, either Kane needs to change the way he plays and focuses on being the lone striker up top, or you move Musiala lower on the pitch
 
Not a great display for an opening game apart from the goal and a few sparks of skill.
 
Bayern need to think about bringing on Choupo on in order to have some presence in the box.
 
Imagine sitting behind that trying to watch the game with your grandad.

Needs to learn to play as a focal point for a team that dominates rather than try to be a 1 man team and go wherever for a team that doesn't dominate.
 
Anyone else's Sky keep on cutting out?
 
I fear that this is Bremen's last hurrah, before they run out of steam soon and the gaps appear..

Moves around a lot, but seems to have very little effect, other than one counter attack. Bayern have their opportunities, but's mostly from the edge of the box, because their play lacks depth.
 
Imagine Kane moves to Bayern for guaranteed trophies after them winning the league 11 (?) times in a row and they end up losing it this year!
 
This game has been a snooze fest. Bayern look unimpressive.
