Think the keeper could have taken a little step before diving and he’d have saved it. Taller keeper would have saved it too.

I think, this is a very precise depiction of what goes wrong. Well said. Part of the problem though, lots of our fans work like this as well.

Bayer's chances *all* came from errors in Bayerns build-up play, not from errors in defence per se. These errors happen because Bayer does a marvellous job of putting the pressure on in Bayerns possession, sometimes with as much as 6 players in the opponents half. Is this how United usually plays?

Well it is still just the first half and Bayern are starting to get a foot in now.

Its impressive how Leverkusen always finds passes through the center.

Wirtz has been weird, he's shown a great ability to find space between Bayerns midfield and defense, created numerous chances but at the same time has wasted quite a few opportunities as well. He truly is Bruno's successor :lol:

The ball is not getting to Kane much. Leverkusen did very well at the back, except for set pieces.
 
After 3 years of Sane at Bayern, there's no coach or somebody to tell him to hit the ball normally? I really can't take it anymore.

Good first half of football.
 
Fun game, good tempo and some great plays from Leverkussen. Though if they don’t reward themselves, I feel that Bayern will get the win just by sheer quality.

Yeah cracking half. Boniface certainly looks an interesting forward for a counter attack team, thought he was going to score with that run and shot that deflected over. Thought Leverkusen were playing better football and then Bayern just ping some diagonals and Sane and Gnabry are pretty much through on goal.

It's Leverkusen though so they'll probably gift Bayern the winner with 96th minute Xhaka own goal or something.
 
Is there any bookie where i can place a "Boniface will go to the PL next summer for 100millions" bet? :D

TBF our pressing has been probably the only good aspect this season so far

That's why, the expectations turn into disappointments almost always with him. I attributed his fall to this trash fanciful technique more than his injury, he is still fast.

He had some knock during the break, didn’t he? Only trained yesterday, my commentator said.

I think Palhinha would’ve made a difference in a game like this. Leverkusen are playing through the middle.
