I think he did address that saying he had made a mistake sacking the manager and should have let it play out until the end of the season, but you have to wonder if he made that admission simply because the hypocrisy was too much not to address.Funny how its a different story when its his money
He said the same about Mourinho LVG and Moyes, no?
Neville is a hypocrite. He thinks his stance on never calling for a manager to be sacked is so noble and strong.
Well, why are you a pundit then? You sure have no issues saying a player should be let go of a club if they are poor, what makes a manager difference?
Why are people still accusing Neville of backing Ole?
Because he hasn't called for OGS" sacking or called him out for bad management.
He's laying into Oles management. People want him to say Ole should be sacked which he just won't, but he's basically saying it without saying it.
That strange twitter exchange between someone and Piers Morgan where Piers Morgan isn't the one who's the most full of shit.
There's an exception to every rule. There's a good barometer in life, if you find yourself on the same side as Piers Morgan, it's worth taking a good long look to check yourself.

Sure, and sometimes I agree with Morgan but I stand by "if you find yourself agreeing with Piers Morgan, it's worth a quick re-evaluation, just to make sure you're not being a cnut".
Which players did he say should be let go?
Populist bullshit and as if Ole’s goal had anything to do with his managerial skills and job he’s doing as a gaffer, feck me it’s embarrassing - if you would’ve said 22 years ago that most of the class of 92 that I have idolized back then would turn out to be egoistic cnuts with little valuable to say I would’ve said no way.

Isn’t Neville’s comment here basically saying that he understands the position (no blinkers) but won’t call on television for someone to get the sack (decency)? He doesn’t actually disagree with anything Morgan says, other than the blinkers point. Seems pretty reasonable to me.That strange twitter exchange between someone and Piers Morgan where Piers Morgan isn't the one who's the most full of shit.
I am Pakistani and I was referring to Pakistani PM.
Can’t imagine him being behind giving Ole any more time, he’s too honest and focussed on winning. I don’t expect to see him on any Utd related coverage in the coming weeks as such.Where has Keane been in all this? Is he Ole in or out?
Why is everyone getting their knickers twisted over what Gary Neville says on telly or twitter? It has literally no bearing on anything that goes on in the club, so don’t let it worry you. I place as much stock in what Gary Neville says as I do with Paul Ince. None.
so what if he backs his mate? Would you go on telly and stick the knife in to one of your mates? I know I wouldn’t.
this whole Ole in/out thing has made our fan base so toxic, the bile and absolute shite posted on twitter today alone is embarrassing to read. Fan cam wankers loving it for the clicks and likes, Twitter nobheads posting “I hope Ole dies” on the United tweet about Walter Smith. People working themselves into a frenzy over the whole situation.
Just support the team, whether it’s Ole, Conte or fecking Whoever else, back your team and your manager until the end. If he gets potted, and it’s likely barring a massive turnaround, then so be it, you then support the new manager.
since Fergie left the online fan base have turned against Moyes, LVG, Mourinho and now Ole. Whilst we’ve flattered to deceive with Those managers, we’ve turned into spoiled brats, running to twitter as soon as things don’t go our way.
He said the same about Mourinho LVG and Moyes, no?
He won't call for a manager's head but I suspect he feels like the majority of fans.
He gets far too much stick on here.
He wanted Mourinho to get more time until the very end. I guarantee he's still behind Ole.Can’t imagine him being behind giving Ole any more time, he’s too honest and focussed on winning. I don’t expect to see him on any Utd related coverage in the coming weeks as such.
Dont think he’d put himself in that position.
He's been on Sky for what 10 years and has said repeatedly that he won't call for any manager to be sacked. Not sure what people expect, he's hardly going to start now and call for a friend to be sacked.Just like you don't need a weatherman to tell you it's pissing down, you don't need Neville to tell you we're fecked with Ole at the helm. Not sure why there are so many mouth breathers so desperate for him to validate their opinion that Ole is not good enough... can you not think for yourself?
