needs to be off our games next season, its absolutely awful suffering through him as a united fan. a complete drain
Couple of decent forwards and Arsenal would be in front he says. Yes and if we had an half decent team we might be in front.
Never heard that one.Gary’s commentary of our games is akin to that kid who disses his own mother in front of everybody so the school bullies don’t pick on him
Have you talked to a therapist about this, mate?Gary’s commentary of our games is akin to that kid who disses his own mother in front of everybody so the school bullies don’t pick on him
I’m genuinely amazed how hurt some of you get. It’s like you spend the game waiting for him to say something you don’t like and then running here with it. Just watch the game and switch off to him if you find it that bad
Yeah he can be annoying sometimes but jeez. There’s people crying that he didn’t say a good word or Compliment something. No, hes genuinely terrible. I dont mind Neville and think his forte is post match punditry and the overlap is a success, but his commentary is miserable and jaded and sky should freshen it up. There's a knowitallism vibe too that shouldn't be there with the co-commentator, and then you add in that he seems so conscious of being balanced that he overcompensates when on united. It's a joyless thing having him for 90 minutes and yeah, we can mute, but its ultimately a poor and expensive service.
Sky need to mix things up on comms, carragher and neville have had their day.
The thread exists for a reason. And it’s kinda how a forum worksI’m genuinely amazed how hurt some of you get. It’s like you spend the game waiting for him to say something you don’t like and then running here with it. Just watch the game and switch off to him if you find it that bad
What’s shocking is that many here on the cafe share the same opinions as him. He’s hard on the club like everyone!I’m genuinely amazed how hurt some of you get. He just praised Onana. I thought I’d run here and let everyone knowThe thread exists for a reason. And it’s kinda how a forum works

He needed to find something so that United couldn’t get any credit.“Justice for the 1.2 yards”
I know shocking right.Seemed a bit more positive with us that half.
They kept rattling on about this, who the feck cares?“Justice for the 1.2 yards”

He actually said that Arsenal's wall looked too far from the ball before Bruno took the free kick. So of course he would concentrate on that when Bruno scored. Any pundit would do the same.Don’t think any of his initial comments complimented the free kick![]()
In an even game I'm not sure I've ever seen him award a United player MOTM for fear of being labelled biasedIf there’s one thing he’s always going to do, it’s give Declan Rice motm
Oddly specific.Gary’s commentary of our games is akin to that kid who disses his own mother in front of everybody so the school bullies don’t pick on him
The Gary Neville MOTM cheat sheet for a United game:If there’s one thing he’s always going to do, it’s give Declan Rice motm
Not really. They looked miles away to me too. And they were, so?You don't find it amazing that he managed to notice the distance of Arsenal wall from Bruno's free kick?
