Gary Neville - Pundit

I'm so glad I don't watch the British coverage - it's already excruciating experience being a United fan, why rub it in having a former player shit on his team and make it even more sad

so you'd like him to saying how great we are?

Jamie Carragher casually absolves his team for the most blatant diving possible in Jota..... Neville rips his teams players to shreds for breathing at times, isn't there already enough to moan about? But this guy creates shit to moan about on top of that when commentating.

Loves having opinions on absolutely everything.

Hope he goes back to being a manager outside England.

So Gary, is there a problem in the midfield pairing? He hasn’t mentioned it yet…?

We're staring at a 6th defeat in 9 games with the 2nd highest wage bill in the league, he's just saying what every United fan is thinking watching this dross.

He is whining about the midfield pairing and their positioning. Whilst he is right about their positioning, he is acting like we have other realistic options.

We're about to be in a relegation battle and can't score goals and you're all crying about Neville. Do me a favor

Yes just insufferable.
There's a way to critisise, do it constructively.
Don't get m wrong we haven't been great but we have no options in midfield apart from Case and Bruno and some kids.
Any other club and he'd be mentioning injury crisises again and again and giving excuses.
Put Ugarte and Mainoo or Collyer in there and we'd be beating spurs.

well, answer the question

I don’t need to tell you that there is something between Gary lying and saying we’ve been good, and Gary just going above and beyond and letting his emotion get the better of him and talking as if this is the worst performance in the history of the premier league.

We’ve been shit. He doesn’t need to repeat it every minute. We all know.

It’s funny that our fanbase seems to love Amorim saying they’re all shite but a pundit on tv saying it is the problem.

He’s literally saying everything that you normally on a daily basis would read on here.
Yeah, and who the feck wants to hear that on their TV?

Even opposition fans must be fed up of the one-note constant moaning about United.

Constantly bleating on with no ideas or solutions.

We know the team is unbalanced. We know there's spaces. We know there's no legs. Talk about something else besides the bleeding obvious!

Redknapp adding the most obvious bit of nuance that Neville just can’t get his head around. Bit embarrassing for him.

No, some fans don't assume, as he does, that Amorim is a cluesless clown who would, out of sheer stupidity, set up a team with such glaring mistakes that you "wouldn't see in an Under-9 team". He clearly has an agenda.

he clearly has nothing of the sort... that's just something you've decided. he has set the set up is wrong and it so obviously is

What did Jamie say?
That we have a million injuries so Amorim doesn’t have many options, he could bring Bruno back but it might not suit him and the flip side of having Bruno so far forward is that we’ve had chances.

I think.

He doesn’t have to say we’re great when we’re not, but he’s overly negative for a pundit. A pundit’s job is to give a critical analysis, not be a crying, whiny child. He’s horrible to listen to and adds absolutely nothing.

He’s a Utd fan though, of course he’s going to moan when things are as bleak as they are. Which Utd fan wouldn’t? What else is he meant to do after watching that - jump up and exuberantly cheer?

So he is meant to comment on the game whilst not mentioning our clear flaws?
He should do what most other commentators do. Call what you see, and give opinions on individual events as they come up.

There's no need to just constantly drone on and on and on about the same things. It just makes the viewing experience worse for everybody watching.
