Happy with Depay and will be mega happy if Bale stays at Madrid. I've said it before, regardless of what's happening with Bale at Madrid, I never get the feeling the guy fancies our club much. In fact, if he is forced to leave Madrid, I think he would end up at Chelsea, I really believe he would choose them over us.

I must say i had my doubts about James. Thought he could be a flash in the pan like some players who do well at the WC and then just seem to disappear. It was mostly based on what i had heard from a Monaco fan who told me he wasn't even a first team regular for them. Boy i was wrong. This lad is the real deal. He scores consistent goals with great technique and beauty, has good vision and also puts in his fair share of defensive shift. Id say worth every penny.

Isco has been their best player this season.

Rodriguez was awesome at Porto a few years back. I was absolutely buzzing at the thought of us signing him then, as was rumoured, as he would be perfect for us. Safe to say he has gotten even better in his time at Monaco and Madrid. Brilliant player.

bale would be fantastic for any premier league team. if city gets him i fancy them to win the league. if chelsea gets him i fancy them to win the league again. if we get him then i fancy us to win the league.

not sure whether real will sell him this summer but you never know with real. they end up selling one of their best performer in di maria just to add james into their squad., although so far it proved to be a great move for them.

If we were to sell Di Maria it would make sense to go for Bale but if were keeping him then we don't need him. Tbh I know Young has played well this season (by his standard) but we should be looking at better in the Starting 11. Even though we have expected more from Di Maria and he hasn't been in the best of form he's still scored, assisted and created more chances than Young has all season.
IMO we still need to upgrade in that area, Marco Reus comes to mind, I know he has signed a new contact but that doesn't mean he can't be sold with all the changes going on there, he signed the contract for BVB interests so they could get a decent fee for him and not allow him to leave for his buyout clause of €25M.
I'd be happy if we could get Reus and Hummels from BVB in the transfer window. Depay would provide great cover for Reus on the Left and Mata/Januzaj for Di Maria on the right (I'd rather see them at #10, at least 1 of them).
I'd say we could possibly get a decent return for Young the way he's played and there's also Nani, Valencia and Hernandez that could/Should be sold too amongst others.

Because he relies on space and counter attacking to thrive? Two things that he'll get none of in an LVG United team.

He is right, a guaranteed 20+ goals and assists winger has no place in a laborious style which values possession numbers more than chances created and goals scored.
