We should've broke the bank for him a year before Madrid were interested. Missed the boat imo.
He'd be a great signing imo, especially with Zlatan on the way out. We need more verve in our attack and he can bring it.
Why? No offence to you but why do you want a player that by all accounts wants to stay at Madrid, and doesn't fancy playing for United. He's also injured a lot and will want crazy wages. I don't understand ppl still wanting him at the club. This would be my dream signing, but only for a reasonable price, considering his injury problems.

Have people not seen this guy play? The only answer to do we want him at United has to be:
Would take him on a loan with option to buy. Anything else, no.
Think this is a great shout, however, how does it benefit Madrid?Would take him on a loan with option to buy. Anything else, no.
Gareth Bale managed to get Real Madrid supporters, probably the worst fanbase of any major European club on his side through his performances. That alone means he would be an excellent signing. Plus, I mean, anyone with two eyes and a brain who watches football knows he's a world class player.
Of course it wouldn't be a good idea if he doesn't want to play here. But it's up to us to find out if he's motivated enough to play for us, otherwise there is obviously no point in trying to bring him here. It would have to be for a reasonable price though, that takes into account him being injury prone. Why? I still believe he is in his prime, as long as he stays fit at least 50-70% of the time, then he would be worth it.
They get his wages off their books for a year at least.Think this is a great shout, however, how does it benefit Madrid?
I know it might not be fully rationale, but I would have a tough time saying no to Bale. I mean he's a superstar, and I think he's exactly the type of player that we're missing.Haven't learn anything from Owen, Hargreaves and Saha? Injury prone players go tilt the moment you need them the most.
If we're going to spend good money on a player then we should avoid crocks.
at real they have repeatedly rushed him back too early and it has had a cummilative effect. I doubt he'd have that issue else where. Ill be surprised if we do get him though. I just have that feeling if he leaves Real he will return to Spurs. This isnt the issue, everyone knows when fit and on form he is one of the most exciting players on the planet. The problem being how often is that exactly? He spends more time injured than Wilshere it seems. And at 29 next year should we not be putting our money into young talent instead? Not being fleeced by Madrid for a sick note approaching 30.
There are some provisions, would anyone complain if he was happy to take a pay cut and we picked him up from Madrid for 30-35mil? I dont think so, but the wages he is on and the fee RM will demand, probably around 50 mil, im still def in the no boat.

Like I said, the price has to be reasonable, but I doubt that it will be.
Asked the players he’d buy and sell if he was Manchester United boss, Campbell said: “I’d buy Gareth Bale for sure. I think he’d do really well.
“Sell… I’d move on Anthony Martial, if you have to go like for like.
“If you’re bringing in Bale you can’t keep everybody.”
Paddy Power then probed Campbell on the possibility of a transfer happening to which he replied: “I think he will [move to the Premier League]. I think he could do really well.”
Sol Campbell also thinks that he is "one of the greatest minds" of football and every team out there should hire him as a coach.Sol Campbell's thoughts
'I'm confident and it's not like it's rocket science to run a football club, especially when you get to that level. If you're intelligent enough and a quick learner you will learn pretty soon, within two or three games, what the team needs, training-wise, to survive in that league, get better in that league, to get in the play-offs or even win the league.
'I'm intelligent enough, it's not like I played on a fox and dog pitch all my life. I can't believe some people, I'm one of the greatest minds in football and I'm being wasted because of a lack of experience or "maybe he talks his mind too much".
'Go to Germany, they love people who speak their minds. They got the jobs. I'm sorry that I've got a mind, but don't be scared of that. That should be something you want at your club, but obviously not.'
I haven't actually watched him (or Real) play this season, but I keep remembering our pre-season match against them. There were a number of times in that match where TFM absolutely destroyed Bale for pure pace. I keep thinking that Bale just wasn't fit yet and wasn't really trying...but what if he just doesn't have that pace anymore? Unlike many others I do believe he's a very good player even without the pace, but his speed was obviously what took him to the next level.Watching him now.
It's either he's lost a lot of pace or he's worried about running at speed.

I don't know who but much rather go for a younger, healthy player (if we are buying, wich I don't think we are) In my mind, going for Bale, is just a bad idea.Of course it wouldn't be a good idea if he doesn't want to play here. Wise words.Hasnt Bale said many times he doesnt want to leave Madrid? Why would we sign someone who doesnt want to be here. Think of the Di Maria fiasco.
Sol Campbell is a twat
Serious question and I’m not making light of mental illness - did Campbell have a mental break down of some sort a few years back? Every time I hear him speak or see quotes from him there’s just something not quite right there.
Daniel Bryan is an apt choice given he's a crock as well.
