Television Gangs of London -Sky Atlantic

Not so sure about that most comments are about how violent it is and the acting is poor

I can't watch shows where the acting is poor

Most comments can piss off! It's a feckin great show... Some of the episodes had the most tense I've ever been whilst watching a show.

And there was me thinking what bollocks could I possibly watch now that LOTR and GOT (sorry HotD) is done and it's THREE DAYS TILL THIS COMES OUT.

The universe delivers again, will need to brush up on series 1 as I've forgotten loads of it.

Are they releasing all episodes at the same time?

I loved series 1 and watched it all at once, then again a few months later!

Much prefer to be able to get stuck in to a series that way rather than waiting.

Is Sean dead I put on the channel to download the first episode and there he was on the splash cover.

Watched the first two episodes, was really good seems more stylish than the first series must have got a big budget for this expecting big things in the coming episodes.

I'm just starting episode 5. It's brilliant my only grip is that it keeps pushing me back to HD and I have to keep bouncing out to get it in 4k

I have a University degree and use words like "furthermore" so I won't be watching this

What's a deg-re? Me dumb.

Have we reached peak first world problems?

No.
How long do we have to wait for the next season.
I'm team Wallace kids. Especially Sean. Need next season to see what happens next.

I really hate shows where all the episodes come out at once. Would have enjoyed discussing this, an episode at a time, over several weeks.

It pisses me off when the BBC releases a show weekly on tv but all the episodes are up on IPlayer so you have a mix of people who have binged it and watch it weekly and it means spoilers are a nightmare.

Yeah, I don’t get the binge thing at all. Loads of stuff to watch anyway. Can’t see the downside of watching an episode of a show you enjoy every week. Been that way for decades and never seemed like a problem. A lot of the enjoyment always came from discussing episodes while waiting for the next one. Plus it’s something to look forward to every week. Win win.

They've only released the first two episodes. New eps comes out on Thursday.

Anyway, solid start. Made the prudent decision to rewatch the final ep of s1 (which just about filled in the gaps). Forgot how fast paced the show is, loads happens in each episode.

It's not all out at once. I worked on the campaign for this though so pretty much know how it all ends... Little point in me watching it now :(

episode 3 was not expecting Sean to shoot the father’s girlfriend seemed a bit unnecessary, but hey ho!

No they haven't I've seen the whole season.

the way he was shot in the finale, you could see it was his cheek/deliberate misplaced shot by Elliot, always my impression he’d come out alive. I’ve not seen anything in series 2 yet though, have it downloading as didn't realise it was back!

I’ve accidentally got hooked and binge watched the whole series - it was good. I’ll say no more as everyone catches up.

Caught the first episode of this on Friday and was wondering if it was mentioned here and sure, enough. I really enjoyed the first episode so I think this will be my next show.

It's all out.

Ep 6 pissed me off. That was awful. Didnt like that.
Finished it now. Brilliant season. I loved the little reference on the TV in the last episode because I brought it up in S1 what the show seemed to copy from a violent perspective. Luan is my favourite character. What an animal. Happy with the ending.

Glad sean is alive. Seemed stupid for elliot to kill him a 2nd time. Also how tf is Lale alive. Thought Asif was going to torture the shit out of her after that episode. Kinda weird how Elliott is now the leader, like how does that even work. Dont they all know hes a rat/cop?

You guys are weird. This is really, really daft. Gave up on the 6th episode, should have done a lot sooner.

Finished this today, was pretty good kept my attention throughout but wasn’t as good as the first season. I like that it’s set up for another season though Elliott is pretty badass.

Is it just me or is the budget much lower for this one? I’m on episode three and there’s been a couple of set-pieces with special effects so bad they look like they’ve been knocked up on a lap-top! The cinematic set-pieces were the best thing about S1. Be annoying if they remain this lame for the rest of the season.

I was waiting for a big finale or some special theatrics but it never really came, was a little disappointed in that. They must be stretching the money over a few seasons.

Budget or no budget there is way less action in this season, it is ok but without the action.... That's what hooked me last season. I spent half the episodes waiting for action that never really came.

The Lale escape, and the nightclub shootout were good though, and the gun-in-mouth double headshot in ep5? Deserves a special mention

Aside from that I can take it or leave it. .....I'll watch season 3 no doubt...

Just finished the second season. It was a bit disappointing after bingeing the first season a couple weeks back with the wife. The story seemed so....direction less. Double cross on top of double cross on top of double cross where the third and first double crosses are against two factions that end up joining teams. I got late 'Son's of Anarchy' seasons vibes from it. Not that the first season was realistic, but it was more grounded in a world where there were consequences, whereas now nothing really meant anything. There are still some good characters and some decent fights (when the main guy directs them) still, but they need to streamline the story again back to the first season level or it won't be worth watching the third season.

Finished S2 of this today. Thought it was good but not as good as the first season. Finale was a bit disappointing. Looking forward to S3 though.

Just started watching this - 2 eps into season one. Love it so far. Really, really good.
