Television Game of Thrones (TV) • The watch has ended

I'm so fecking tempted to go on one of those wikia sites and read everything there is about this book/show.
Waiting several fecking months to resume the story is too much for me, I managed to get ahold of all the books (scanned versions) and the number of pages for each one put me off
I feel like I'm going crazy, what I should do caftards :( ?

Don't join the muppets mate.

Seriously, what fecking joy or excitement is there in watching a show while knowing most of what's going to happen? If you knew about last weeks crazy episode stuff, would it really have hit home as brilliantly as it did?

You'll regret it if you do. It's a long wait but it's worth it!

You could go for the audio books if you're feeling lazy. I've got them, but I don't want to spoil what is probably the best TV show I've ever seen. I may listen to them after the series run is over.

You're not one for the historical dramas then. Or biopics. Or anything based on fact?

I do get the fact that suspense is part of the experience, but it's only part. I am watching, and loving, the TV series, and have not read the books but I've never seen such hysteria over spoilers.

Did Cersei just see the mutilated hand and not the return of her 'brother/lover'? She's a bit of bitch that lass.

hehe I see what you are trying to do.I am feeling like this today after this last episode but who knows tomorrow, I might just be my calmer self.It is frustrating though, this long wait.

I'm gonna read the books that we've seen Kouroux, to help bridge the gap. Then I'm gonna come in here and post only winking smilies randomly.

The ending was abit underwhelming but considering the last episode I think any thing they could have possibly done would be.

It seems like this finale was all about the implications of what's happened.

* Arya has taken the first step into being an vengeful death machine
* Winter isn't coming anymore, It's here.
* The war for the Iron Throne has just become secondary
* Tyrions whore is gonna feck everything up apparently.
* Danny is loved by all apparently and has now amassed a massive army.
* Jon Snow still knows nothing.

Good lord, I didn't realise it was possible for Dany to be even more sanctimonious and annoying. :wenger:

Judging by the line she said whilst holding the coin, I think we're going to see that assassin again pretty soon. Shit's about to get real.

She puts too much emotion into her acting whenever she's trying to sound assertive. The first half of the speech wasn't too bad, but Emilia Clarke's voice really started to crack up as it went along.

Dany is the only character so far who isn't a shade of grey. I can see her storyline taking a dark twist next season. At least I hope so.

My dads been saying for weeks how he reckons she's gonna go on a rampage and kill everyone. Looks like its starting to happen

That way he looked at Geoffrey after the little shit accused him of hiding under a rock was so awesome. How it stopped Geoffrey right in his tirade realizing "Uh oh. Big effing mistake what I just said there." That was just awesome.

That was great. Charles Dance is just an awesome actor. Although the kid who plays Geoffrey is extremely good as I've never hated a kid as much as I hate him.

This is going to be an agonizingly long wait for the next season. Have to somehow stop myself from picking up that thing with paper and words, want to watch the TV series first, the best television series I have ever watched, and I'm sure I can read better literature.

What a shit ending. The last 2 seasons had great endings (though did relatively feck all with them the following seasons), but this was boring as hell. Her freedom stuff is pissing me off. Also, how big does she want her army to be? Is it in anyway comparable with Lannisters and co?

The one thing I did like was that they showed every story even if it was pointless. Also, why did the red woman (who is just ) not 'see' anything about the White Walkers in her visions?

The red woman was looking for ways to Make Stannis king, I don't think she was really concerned with the north at all. Think of her fire like google, she's only going to find what she's looking for.

a bit harsh, she was interesting in the first season, but I will admit that since then her single-mindedness and obviousness has made her one of the less interesting characters

When you're bored of Khaleesi you're bored of life. I do spend the whole of all her scenes growling mannishly at the screen though so I don't really listen to her one note speeches.

Well that was a bit anti-climatic. I didn't expect it to blow my balls off like last week but was there really a need to fill it with so much flim flam.

That feckin direwolf head on Robbs decapitated corpse was horrible though. I had to rewind it to make sure it was what I thought it was.

Also, the story about the Gods and the rat got me proper pumped for some payback on the old fart but then I realised by the time it actually happens (if it ever does) that I'd have forgot about it be then and be it'd be far less impactful (is that a word?).

Yeah, Arya is gonna get trained up as a faceless assassin and feck everyone's shit up. That would work.

Also can't believe that they didn't see Davos was gonna free Gendry from a mile away. I mean, c'mon, you only locked him up 5 minutes ago for going against the grain.
