Television Game of Thrones (TV) • The watch has ended

That would make sense considering the scene looked rushed. The only thing I couldn't understand was why would stabbed Jaqen walk to the theatre? Now I've just got it, because the real Arya is probably holed up there and he's doing his last bit.

I also wonder if the pledge she forced on him to kill himself as one of her three wishes has to be fulfilled despite Jaqen getting her to change that decision?

Very interesting, I had forgotten completely about that. Would it be symbolic that an Arya would be killed and therefore the real Arya can become no-one.

The "siege" scene was absolutely hilarious. I simply loved it, there was something so Monty Python-ish about it. The "whatever... this is" comment on the siege attempt, the dialogue between Jamie and Bronn and the Freys. Oh my God, the Freys... "-Surrender the castle or... or we'll do something bad to this fella. -Like what? - Hmmm, we'll cut his throat. - Who gives a shite? - Oh, feck it. Get him down." And the finale with Jamie. That was good stuff.

Also, as many have mentioned since yesterday: If Lyanna Mormont had three dragons, this show would have been over two seasons ago.
When the dragons were still small and untamed?

And then the Bolton's betrayed the crown by marrying off Sansa to Ramsay. They're basically in open revolt. Maybe going north will be the Lannister army's next step, add them into the White Walker fray.
Would not really call it open revolt since they are not trying to hurt the Lannister's at all. At least not that we have seen. Yeah Cersei would want sansa dead but nobody in KL seemed to care when Ramsey married Sansa and since the whole north was told it is likely KL knew.

Boltons more concerned with forming up their hold on the north.

I wouldn't mind that, I personally am not too bothered about spoilers.

I've read something (not from the book - just a theory) that looks likely to happen in the future. I'll spoiler it below:

Are you sure?
Are you sure you're sure?
The zombie mountain kills Tommen, maybe by accident, though essentially because Tommen either stands up against Cerci or tells the Kingsguard to lock her away until the trial by combat. The zombie mountain is more or less commanded to kill any enemies of Cerci (as evidenced by him crushing that guy's head who said Cerci had stared at his cock).

That'd be such a fecking twist, damn.

Most logical thinking through of Arya getting out of jail free I've seen. Hope they show it next week and don't drop it til later on

She wouldn't have locked them away now, would she? Instead of hunting for sheep to it she could have allowed them to chase some Boltons. Wouldn't that be fun? :D

Am I missing something? Wouldn't Lyanna get fried if she was anywhere near one of their fire breathing events? There's a reason Dany is the mother right? The fire?

Nah, it was a funny episode and Lyanna was funny too. I watched the episode again and at the beginning of the scene where Jon, Sansa and Davos go to meet her, Sophie Turner tries very hard not to laugh. Anyway, Lyanna is probably a tough nut and we even saw her in the camp. Because of that there were people all around the internet who, in their own attempt to have a laugh at the snoozefest that is Dany's story line atm, mentioned -not on a serious note- that if Lyanna had three dragons, this show would have ended a couple of seasons ago.

Ah ok, thought I was missing an important plot development or something. Cheers.

That sounds
great

Only three episodes left now. This is usually where the season cranks up a bit too. Tbh even if this show did dip in quality I'd still happily keep watching it just for that one Hardhome/Blackwater/Red Wedding type episode per season. The fact that the season has generally picked up from a very weak season 5 does help though.

What's the policy on naming writers/directors of future episodes?
Bizarre that people would have an issue with it but it is the caf so they'll probably be the usual suspects outraged. I don't know why some people read these threads.

really? i loved the last series.

Same here. Would be amazing.

@cesc's_mullet
Where's the artwork from? Do they make a GoT comic book or something?

Not too sure mate, I found the picture on Reddit. It looks awesome and apparently that artist has several other pictures around that depict things that have and may happen.

The Hound finding all those people massacred was a massive plot hole. Where was he? I presume hearing the sounds of people being massacred in the night goes unnoticed.

Update: Just thinking - the Hound knew what was coming and therefore hid. Smart move.

Would the greyjoys somehow help out arya if say theon or yara find her, assuming the greyjoys go to braavos?

I didn't mind season 5, but if this one follows the projectory and keeps the quality it will be one of the best.

That would be interesting.
But are you suggesting that the Faith choose Tommen as their warrior for the trial by combat?. But I hope they don't do it. I prefer a good old fashioned Cleganebowl. :)

Nah, I think that he will just stand up to Cerci in some way. Possibly if Loras is chosen or accepts being the Faith's trial by combat fighter, gets destroyed by the mountain, then maybe Margery says something or steps in (?) causing Tommen to follow and gets killed as a result. Or maybe he just stands up to Cerci now that he's brainwashed and the mountain ends him. It could happen a few different ways.

He probably thought that the wood was screaming because he was so good with the axe.

Yeah, that does seem plausible especially considering how both The High Sparrow and Margary are playing him at the moment. But Margary is also playing the High Sparrow, so it's all a little messed up. Cersei seems to be the only one who's not(Surprisingly) manipulating anyone for now.

But I genuinely doubt it'll be Loras. It has to be the Hound, especially considering how much importance they gave to him in the previous episode. Loras has hardly had 3 mins of screen time.

Yeah, Tommen's gonna get got. He's #2 on my GoT deathwatch list after Daario. Then the High Sparrow.

I've been disappointed with Snow tbh. You'd think he'd have come back a bit more...dare I say badass after returning from the dead. Still time to rectify that this season though in the upcoming battle.

Is it me or does Jon Snow look awesomer than ever.
Curls > Man bun.

He wants to take on the Boltons with only 2,500 soldiers. That's badass, in a stupid sort of way.

His rousing speeches are so cringeworthy. I half expect his men to do a Theon on him after each one.
