Television Game of Thrones (TV) • The watch has ended

Ian McShane kinda spoilered something in a TV interview and was called out on it. This was his response:

“I was accused of giving the plot away, but I just think get a fecking life. It’s only tits and dragons."
Lad.

Should put that in the thread title.

Remember last year when the first 4 episodes were leaked, this thread was madness. Inconsiderate aresholes popping up everywhere, hope that doesnt happen again.

I still don't get why anyone watched them. All you get is an extremely dragged out wait for episode five.

Not sure on whats allowed to be discussed in here, but seen this image from the trailer.

Interesting clip there. Reconfirms the notion that the other members of the watch want to burn his body and those faithful to Snow are holding the fort. Raises the excitement that Melisandre might have something to do with it.

Finally got around to re-watching season five, been a lot less eager to do this compared to the first four seasons.

Wow, that trailer gave a little too much information didn't it? Not much mention of the Martell's though! I would love to see more of the Sand Snakes :)

Sand Snakes were the worst thing about last season. The fight scenes with Bron & Jaimie were tragic.

Walder Frey hasn't made an appearance since the end of season three has he? Interesting that he's in that trailer.

The sandsnakes had the worst dialogue. They were useless as feck. Not sure how they were related to the charismatic viper from the season before.

Nah think you can. Pretty sure it was only mentioned right? Put spoilers if you want to feel safe.
I hope you're right about that. Anyway:
Yeah it was mentioned. Like in the show most of the wildlings have gathered there after they were defeated at the wall and they're starving, eating themselves etc. So Jon wants to lead a raid himself there by land (he sents ships first but half the fleet sinks because of a storm so he has no other option) to rescue them but is stabbed before all is set in motion so the series episode is completely created.
The show and the books are at the same point now so we're all in the dark going forward.
Technically true but there is still stuff that happened in the books which hasn't happened in the show (at all or yet), so TV only watcher can still run into spoilers.

Cannot wait for this, so far I've managed to avoid the trailers and potential spoilers. Glad Sky are simulcasting this with America.

He still has Catlyn Stark's brother Edmure Tully locked up in his castle after the forced marriage to his daughter. Brynden Tully (the Uncle) escaped the wedding and we've not seen them since.

Christ I forgot about Edmure. Looks like a fair bit of Greyjoy stuff this season as well.

Please, people, convince me that GoT is good & worth watching. Surely it's more than just what I've read on this page: talking snakes, tits, and people living in castles? Sounds like the Politics thread in the CE...
