I heard today that the producers have had a "rethink of how they will handle difficult issues" after the reaction to the Sansa rape 'scene' last year.

Why the feck can't people just feck off and not watch stuff if they're going to cry when bad things happen in a show about bad things happening? There are a million TV shows people can watch that won't upset their soft and gentle natures.

Part of what makes GoT great, is how brutally they deal with issues such as death, child murder, betrayal, rape, torture and all the rest. It's been there since the first episode of the first season so I'll never understand why people have to make a song and dance 5 seasons in is ridiculous.

The scene itself wasn't even graphic or overly brutal. Obviously it was a tough subject but the show is all about tough subjects.

i think the bad reaction of the people was because they change way too many things from the book.

not to do with the rape scene itself but because she never married that fecker. and was never raped by him, jon snow never died... etc

So i think they will stick to the book more often than not from now on.

No sure they changed a whole load of stuff from the original material. I think most people recognise that the enormous number of plot lines and tangents in the books needed to be tweaked and cut to better fit for TV.

The hissy fit thrown after that episode was all about the rape. I don't remember seeing anyone complain about it being different from the book.

They butchered a pregnant woman in a distasteful and grotesque ways, they flay a woman alive, cut a man's penis, and people got difficult watching an angry mob trying to rape sansa??

As far as I'm aware, they've pretty much over-taken the books now and can't follow them.

She's probably the best one left in it now. I used to love the handmaiden Daenerys had when she was with the horsey fecker. Brunette girl who taught her all the bed time tricks before betraying her and getting locked in the vault with the large black chap.

Some plot lines yes, some no. You'll see stuff in season six that the book purists where crying about being missing from season five & four in the forthcoming season. And of course it'll spoil quite a bit of Winds of Winter (yet to be released). The main plot line anyway.

She used to be in Hollyoaks (english tv soap) and posed for FHM and stuff a few times, very nice :drool:

Er, yes there is... there's a pretty big storyline that has been completely missed so far (which I assume they'll be putting in this season).

But yeah some of the current storylines are very different. Lets not even start on whats going on with Jamie.
