Television Game of Thrones (TV) • The watch has ended

I thought Tonks was taking Rickon to Castle Black.

Emilia Clarke is the best of the lot for me. It's close, though. Knowing that she went out with Seth Macfarlane puts me a bit off her for some reason. Actually, her assistant who slept with that rich fella in Qarth is the hottest so far.

 Wrong one. Indira Varma is Oberyns sex slave bastard.
What a lovely title to have!

Oh Emilia, how could you?

Wtf, they killed Rob! :(

Is this the best monologue of the show until now?

I absolutely love Alisser, and I was absolutely pumped to see he's returned to season 4. He's a ruthless bastard, and I love every scene that he is in.

It's a great monologue, but for ones so far you can't look past this one:

I know there are others out there, but this one is embedded in my head. Will bring up others when I remember them.

I thought they were heading to one of the Stark's allies place, don't think they were going to Castle Black.

I can't fecking stand Sanza Stark. She is such a useless piece of shit character and awful actor. I thought she would have done the poisoning and therefore have some use in the storyline but no, she carries on being a useless piece of shit.

And his wolf :(.

Yep, they're heading for The Umbers. Stark bannermen.

It might be a bit weird but there's something strangely attractive about Bran's wildling protector, what's happened to her? I've noticed she isn't with them anymore and can't remember what happened last season.
I knew some weirdo would come up with her name. Though that's still not weird enough by caf standards, unless I've missed someone who digs Olenna.

5 most shocking episode endings so far? For me,

5. Daenarys giving birth to dragons.
4. Theon burning Bran and Rickon. (I know it wasn't them but at that point it was supposed to be them and it was really haunting.)
3. Purple Wedding.
2. Red Wedding.
1. Ned's execution.

Ned's execution more shocking than the Red Wedding?

Ned was the first really big character they killed off right?
Well, King Robert was pretty important too. But Ned was the protagonist of the first season, so likely yes.

She's fine doing vulnerable and timid back when she was married off to Drago but it's impossible to buy her as a strong leader.
Yep. I think that she was great on the first season when she played the little vulnerable girl. But since then she has been bad. Her total lack of charisma makes impossible buying her as a strong leader. They should just let her speak all the time in Valyian, that way she's better.

To be fair, she has by far the worst storyline. I think people would be more forgiving of her if her every appearance wasn't frustrating viewers by being completely inconsequential and ten thousand miles from anyone else in the show.

'The things I do for love' at the end of the 1st episode is probably still my number one. I didn't know anything about the show or the books at that time and yes, a few mean things happened during the episode. But feck me, I never expected him to push that little boy out of the window.

Oh yes, that one too.. Probably that should edge out the 4th one (with Theon..) out of Aldo's list :nervous:

I'm in love with the ginger wilding (feck she's adorable), the stormblood girl (mama mia!), and I have a little crush on Tyrion's whore.

The ginger wilding is amazing though. I'd live in the north naked for a year if it meant I'd have her beside me.

Ned's execution more shocking than the Red Wedding?
Yeah. While the Red Wedding was really shocking as well, I never thought in my wildest dreams that they would actually kill Ned. He was, for me at least, easily the best character in the show, and had enormous aura around him. And actually ending that major a character, was unbelievable. He took the show to another level and no one has stepped up to that level since.

Worse than the Kingslayer? From throwing a Stark kid for as little as him watching them have sex he's effectively a loyal servant to them now, saving their children and what not. I hated his character, just like I hated Joffrey but admired both a lot for adding two kickass negative characters to the show. Now he's so lame it's not even funny.

Yep that one was right up there as well.

Fair enough, but I think it's worth noting that Jamie has been boring for a few episodes now. Dany has basically done nothing of note for a couple of seasons. I think people are just getting frustrated with Dany, she got the dragons over two seasons ago yet they've done almost nothing influential since. I think viewers we're expecting her to be the most exciting part of the series.

Which one was the purple wedding again?

I think the attempted murder of Tyrion has to go on there.

I think Jamie started going downwards soon after he set on his journey with Brienne, but yeah I agree.

Dany's story in season 2 was completely filler, and that doesn't help. All her events have been delayed by at least one season due to that, but I think they don't have any choice because the books probably don't concentrate much on her and give her a lot of time to prepare her army, etc. But even then, there's a lot of footage that has been wasted in her showing her superiority, should have just done a montage when the time had come to take her story forward.

Having said that I still see massive potential in her character, and once her side of the story picks up we might see her being a lot more interesting. I love Ser Barriston as well, his scenes are great.

I hope I didn't spoil it for you. :(

Nah, don't worry, saw it in an advert before I even started watching the show. Just 1 question, which episode is that? I'm acquiring them...

Hey hey Aldo, you didn't spoil it honest, even if I didn't know, I deserve it for posting here, someone warned me a few pages back not to read this when I was still in season 1.

Geez, what type of question is that? Are you a masochist or what?
