Turkey seemed slow to come out and seem to be lacking options going forward. They have too many players who want to drop back and get on the ball rather than make runs in between and beyond the lines. They need some more direct players, and Tosun isn't helping in that regard. They need a forward or two in there who will look to make runs and stretch Croatia, because at the moment, very few of them are doing so.

As a goalkeeper I feel with the guy. Could've done better but it was a bitch of a shot for a goalkeeper.
Yeah. Their striker does hold up the ball from time to time, but no movement around him when he does.
A packed Parc des Princes is infinitely better than the Stade de France, the 45k supporters make a lot more noise.

Yeah, you can see why Terim is playing him. He just needs players who will make runs beyond him. So far, Arda Turan and Tufan have only had a couple of moments where they did that, but still, they need someone more direct than that.
In my opinion, Terim should sub out Calhanoglu for someone more direct, maybe a forward and go with a 4-4-2 or a proper wide player and go for a 4-3-3.

We're just very passionate people even when it's a match that has nothing to do with Turkey or any Turkish team the commentators will be shouting at the most random things when English commentary will just be picking their nose because nothing's happening. Obviously this extends to the people in general especially when it concerns the national team but yeah definitly a bit delusional, but more a hopeful delusion. At the same time we also criticise every little thing that goes wrong.
We're playing with too many nerves, and way too narrow. Arda's having to be everywhere at once going from leftback to right wing. Some players who've never played in such a tournament before as we've not been here in years and the pressure of the whole country can be a bit much. We need to calm down and stop getting in our own way and actually start doing something attack-wise.

People are too harsh on the GK. That's a nightmare shot for him, he sees it late, it has pace and a drop and it's bouncing infront of him. Makes him look bad but incredibly hard to save.
