The goalkeeper is an idiot, when the ball is in the middle you position yourself in the middle. And your positioning has nothing to do with the wall.

Difficult for the goalkeeper as he probably doesn't expect the shot at all and gets surprised. But what makes him not get the save wasn't even the reaction time but the fact he wasn't prepared for the dip. Due to how Modric took that shot it obviously dips so rapidly that it becomes very hard to save. Still looks stupid obviously and I reckon a better keeper would've saved it.
There's definitely a red card in this game.
The security is an absolute joke so far
I wonder if some players/teams speculate with this bleeding stuff. Its a big negative for a team when they get one of these players with a heavy bleed. Probably worth a yellow card if you're cynical enough

The dip is one part, the other is the the placement. It's low, but not far away enough for the GK to reach it with a leap and a stretched out hand and not close enough to clear it with the foot. It's the most uncomfortable place to get the ball for a GK because you can only rely on gravity to get you to the ground quick enough. That's why he looked silly (in Germany we call it the "railway gate").
One of the players I was really looking forward to seeing. Been a big disappointment so far, if I was Terim I'd be hooking him.

Turkey's central defenders are so bad at dealing with wide deliveries into the box. Croatia will certainly get a second goal there. I don't see Turkey winning this game.

Selcuk Inan has barely been in the game in the second half. They need to get the the ball through to him more often and let him stretch Croatia's defences with his passing and vision.
