The Portuguese leave half the opposition unguarded at setpieces. It's so weird that oppositions can't get anything from it. Iniesta to Pique and in, if they play Spain.
Croatia's win over Spain was overrated.

Like i said before, Iceland winning and Portugal finishing 3rd may have been on a way better for Portugal.

Must say I'm surprised. Thought Croatia would comfortably win through to the final, where I felt they had a fair chance to beat Germany/Spain/France.
Neither team deserved to win but my goodness is this bracket gonna be boring. The only team on that side one could have some hope for is Belgium, but even they haven't convinced anybody.

Well done Portugal. They eliminated the hardest opponent on their tree branch with an impressive defensive display. Now I can actually see them reach the final given the opponents that are on their side of the competition tree.
What a terrible game, thank feck it's over. I guess neither team decided to go through but details like Perisic's haircut can be things that decide the game, no way someone with that haircut deserves to be showed anymore on TV with so many people watching.

It was. Somehow they became favourites for a lot of people here, I have been saying since then that the hype was too strong.
Tough luck for them tonight as neither team really deserved it. I am glad we will get to play Portugal as their defending and overall chaos in their game is something we could take advantage of under right circumstances.
Kalinic and Pjaca were great against Spain, the Croatian manager blew this waiting so long to bring them on and attacking Portugal. Shameful approach, they had the better side.

For me better team won, after that win against Spain our players decided it's tournament over, everyone else will roll on for us, that's problem with our mentality! Portugal played with intent and smart tactis which paid off in the end, so good luck against Bales! Now a lacklustre Polish side will be up against a lacklustre Portugesse side. Another boring match up in this shite boring, goal drought tournament.
Vida has to put one of those chances away. Tough loss Croatia, undone by a blistering counter at the end. Renato Sanches,Nani and Quaresma the stand outs.
