Gabriel Jesus | Arsenal

He doesn't seem to know when he is well offside.

Himself and Rashford today both seemed to be over eager breaking the line. Probably excitement and youth. Rashford was excellent but I think it was Lee Dixon who pointed out 2 or 3 times he went just too soon before your players could get their head up. It young lads with massive futures who are over eager to impress.

He was good before the injury but what did he do today? Seeing people praising him, I'm confused whether the praise is for how he played for cuty since signed or this game?

I don't even remember him touching the ball except offside goal.

tbf he had like 5 minutes

he also had that sliding shot that almost went in

That's why I'm asking whether the praise is for today's game or in general for his performances for City.

Looks bloody dangerous... will score 25-30 in the league next season if he stays fit

Hard to see him being anything other than a top striker for years to come with that combination of desire, skill and intelligence. I reckon he's not got a whole lot of growth left - I don't see him being an attacking talisman - but he possesses so many good core qualities now that if he remains that way he'll score a feckload of goals.

Looks a top talent but surely I'm not the only one who gets the urge to punch him in the head? Has one of the most punchable faces I've ever seen.

Now just realize this guy has been celebrating with enthusiasm on 2 offside goals

It was pretty brilliant movement on the offside goal. 50/50 the linesman spots that one, as Jesus was barely offside and for only a second and the pass was from less than a yard further from goal and the linesman probably couldn't see the passer from his vantage point.

I know it's a wee bit crazy and I'm a little bit hungry atm, but he reminds me of...

a cartoon chicken :x

Loudest moment in the stadium was when he came on. He looks a real prick though. Wanted to punch him through the window after his foul on Rashford

Can't believe he's back already with the injury he got:eek: Not pleased he's now an option for City

It's amazing what illegal drugs can do for recovery.

And who cares about a few heart attacks for footballers 10-20 years down the line? As long as they're healthy to kick a ball about in the present, their health doesn't REALLY matter.

Any proof there? Big statement.

Honestly, hes absolutely lethal, hopefully Martial keeps getting back to his best and scores one or two against Swansea. I think Martial has more potential then him tbh, but atm hes more dangerous than Martial.

Jesus looks more hungry to me and that is a massive thing. Martial is a coaster naturally. Jose might get more out of Martial but the enthusiasm and hunger that Jesus seems to display you just can't train.

He has serious potential. We're going to be cursing at his exploits for years to come until he confesses an ambition to play for Barca/Madrid.

Hate his guts already. The love in for him is annoying when he's only played a handful of games.

25-30 goals next season in the league all of a sudden. feck me.
