GAA Championships 2016

Transition time again now for Kerry. Considering how far Dublin are ahead of the chasing pack we may batten down the hatches and get ready for the Jackeens to dominate the next decade.

May god have mercy on us.

That's all I've to say.
Heaven Im in heaven............ :)

Agreed Pat. At this stage teams are only announced for the programme, I'd pay no attention to it at all.

Do you fancy Kerry's chances Sunday? I've personally backed Dublin at the handicap of 3 points, I think it could be a fair few that they win this by. I think that there's a certain lack of mobility in the Kerry half forward line and midfield that means they struggle to cover runs from deep, and the Dubs will overrun them.

Can't wait for the game, should be a cracking atmosphere in Croker too.
Only saw this now man, didn't fancy our chances and bar them crazy few mins before halftime the better side won on the day, no complaints.

I'm enjoying this. Gonna all go wrong though, isn't it? Inevitable :(

I don't know when the last time I saw Kilkenny playing so loose and clueless. The two wars with Waterford might have took its toll on them. Fair play to Tipp, it's just a pity Kilkenny never played this poor against us though. Tipp probably wouldn't be even there today either if it wasn't for what happened to Canning.

I wasn't even going to watch it because I was just resigned to a Kilkenny win. Not counting chickens yet though. 10 mins left, 6 points ahead, what could possibly go wrong....

Congrats to any Tipp lads on here. Happy one title at least is back in Munster.

Really struggling to get tickets for the football final. Thought I'd just put it out there in case anyone on here has any spares.

Got mine confirmed today. They're hard come by this year alright.

In years when Mayo are in the football final, this is my favourite week. Can't wait for the weekend.

Any joy as yet mate? Club allocations were only sorted during the week, did you have any luck there?

Just down the pub now. Hopefully a Dubs win and 12 pints of Guinness will help me forget about United for a while.

Mayo's sense of fatalism can't have been helped by this start (although they've played reasonably well). Losing despite no Dublin player scoring yet

25 mins in and not 1 dublin player has a score yet Mayo find themselves 2 points down.
Fecking Mayo..

Replay no good to Mayo, Dublin will bate the shite out of them in the replay. Mayo are useless.

Yep, Mayo have given it there shot, a bit like Galway hurlers, and they'll get smashed now.

*still trying for the jinx

Seriously though, there were a few massive chokers for them. A few awful wides and crap decisions when they looked the more likely to go ahead.

RTE panel shouting down some poor strawman who entered the studio ffs.
Dublin were poor v us, large periods v Kerry and today. Dublin not being as bad again argument doesn't hold up
