So if Dublin beat Kerry on Sunday they should have the final in between Dublin and Mayo?

It might be no harm if Dublin did venture out of their cozy surroundings a bit more often alright. I'd like to see how fecking smart they'd be on a cold winters day in Pearse Stadium when the breeze whistling in from the Atlantic would cut the balls off them.

feck no. We've a great record against Dublin in Croker of recent times, we'll beat them in their backyard again thank you very much.

I reckon Dublin will do a number on Kerry tomorrow. By more than a few points. I can see this being the end of the road for the likes of Marc O Se, it's just a pity he didn't get the chance to bow out with a stronger team than what Kerry currently are.

A word for the minor game tomorrow as well. No offence to you IWTK, but it would be great for Connacht football if Roscommon could get there. To have three Connacht teams in Croke Park on All Ireland final day would be a great achievement, especially in a year in which we've already got the All Ireland under 21 champions (Galway) and the club football champions (St Brigids).

The west is wide awake.

Croker is only an excuse when ye lose. Proper teams relish coming to Croker and beating Dublin. Proper players love the noise and the challenge of shutting it up. The stadium or the hordes in it have never beaten a good team.

As for the game, I believe with all things being equal we should win comfortably, but because it's Kerry that may not play out. That last meeting in Croker we were fancied and Paul Galvin beat us on his own, in 20 minutes. So if we beat Kerry we'll have to play to the best of our abilities, which at this stage in the tournament you should have to.

Yeah, I'm confident of beating Kerry, but I don't like being confident against teams like Kerry. Should be a good game though, and I think Dublin-Mayo is the final most people want.

Agree with the first paragraph, with the caveat that no team in the country bar Dublin have won as many games in Croker as Mayo over the last couple of years. Second to none in the All Ireland series. It's literally just finals that we come unstuck in. Which bodes well for next month.

As for the second paragraph, it's always foolish for anyone to discount Kerry but I'm feeling particularly stupid today. We're at the very end of the generation of players that have built that reputation for them over the last 10 years, and the younger lads pushing through are nowhere near the same standard. I'm pretty sure that the likes of Galvin and Gooch, great players that they have been and still are, won't have the legs going backwards for the Dublin half back line.

Kerry have always been a team that you could score a fair bit against but that would outscore you at the other end. I just have a feeling that Dublin can starve them of enough quality possession in the middle third to effectively nullify their threat.

Should be a great game to watch though. Especially from the comfortable position of waiting for a final.

Great game in the minor there. Deserved win for Tyrone who seemed to find a huge amount of energy in the last 10 minutes. Great goal too.

Can't understand why Dean Rock is not starting. He's been very good each time he has come on this year.
The problem for Rock is that he is fighting for two positions with Brogan and Mannion. I think Mannion has shown enough to hold his place but I would have Rock in ahead of Brogan. The last 4 or so games I've been waiting on Brogan to shake off his poor scoring form. People are arguing he is getting frees and creating chances but for me I think Rock should have been started against Cork. Will be interesting to see how it all pans out today.

What a start 3 goals in the first 15 minutes and two of them for the Kingdom!

What a game. Kerry with a penalty but Dublin answering with 2 quick points. Barely enought time to type!!

I'm dying with flu at the moment and I'm having trouble keeping up with everything just watching this game. The pace is incredible!

Need to get a lemsip after that half. Very entertaining and still a relatively tight game. McCaffrey hasnt had the influence from half back he had against cork and the Dublin half and full back lines were torn to shreds at times. That said Dublin will make goal chances and missed a couple themselves. I can't see the game continuing at this pace. Couple of Dublin bookings too and a tough game but certainly not dirty. Can't wait for the second half.

Rock looks so composed as a scorer. He looks like he knows he'll score once given the chance. Why Connolly didnt pass to him is beyond me. Is Rock not liked in the camp?

Was a poor challenge alright. Dubs miss two decent point chances there.

Jesus I've soaked through my tshirt watching this game. Dubs pull away at the end but it's been far closer than this scoreline suggests.

That's hilarious, I backed Dublin at each of minus 3, 4, 5 and 6 - I really shouldn't have won any of those bets!

Saw one of the Dubs I'm friends with on facebook call it "Bogball". fecking Pale bastards.

Well done and hard luck to the Kerry lads. Fantastic game of football. Was very impressed by Dean Rock coming on and of course McManamon too. The back line needs to be addressed for the final with Ger Brennan going off at half time and very low on confidence I was actually much happier with O'Sullivan there and Bastick in the middle. Very much looking forward to the final now.
