Gaa 2012

Straight through the middle again, lucky Joe Sheridan couldn't hit a barnyard door.

Alan Brogan is coming off.

Best player on the pitch coming off, Dublin will miss him.

Eoin O'Gara could score a hat trick, or get sent off.

0-7 to 0-5 to Dublin, coming up to half time.

GET THAT THING INTO YE! Great goal.

And another!! brilliant!!!!!!

The only chance Meath have here is going for goals now, even at that the mountain they have to climb is huge.

Great save by Clucko back there, Another goal to kill them off.

What happened to Dublins short kick out routine?

there we go, more like it, keep the ball, simple.

That's disgusting by the umpire.

Well done, that's a call for soccer.

Meath players should of been booked for trying to influence him.

I think to utilise the whistling at free takers the Hill should only do it when needed, to heigthen the impact.

Can anyone get a good luck at the sign up in the hill, saying release Louise somebody.

Could work.

What annoys me is, people behind the goal waving their hands in the air, should only be done by people on either side of the post.

Is that what you call defending?

fecking Dublin fell asleep there, they have taken their foot off the pedal late in this half.

Yes!!

Jesus we never do it the easy way do we.

Pissed off with this second half performance, we will have tests in the weeks ahead that will require us to play the full 70 minutes, not switch off for large portions of the second half.

However another Leinster title in the bag but I get the feeling Gilroy will be giving them the hairdryer treatment, maybe not today but he will have them looking back at where they decided to lay back in the second half.

It's just not the same :(

Also, pitch looks shite when fans aren't on it.

Just back from the Dublin match. Twas a pretty poor match, and we werent great. But a win is a win, and a win is all you need at this stage. We definitely have more to offer if needs be in tighter matches.

O'Gara did great when he came on tbf. Improved a lot since last year.

Dublin are up there with Liverpool as a side I just can't fecking stand.

Yeah, I hate when guys play really honest football and get lots of calls against them, but still train really hard and deserve their success thoroughly.

Their fanbase, the media overuse of the team, their time wasting in having their goalkeeper taking their free's, especially in the 2011 final.

Hehe.

The GAA love the Dublin hype, pays for the changing rooms beside shit pitches across the island.

The same media were calling them shite all last year btw.

Cluxton takes frees when they are behind too, but hey why let facts intrude?

What do our fans do? We get much more abuse then we give, the media don't over use man utd do they? Clucko always takes our frees. and the journos love slagging us off.

I dont mind Dubline, but I do hate the whistling at freetakers. Pretty much all counties do that now though.

1) I'm speaking from experiences, I've found some of them have a trait many Dubliners have, which is looking down on anyone who isn't from the Pale. "Hill 16 is Dublin only" gets on my tits aswell. I think it's massively biased to hold a final in a competitors home county. It would be like the Champions League being based in the Nou Camp ever year

2) They aren't Man United, they hadn't won the all ireland in nearly 20 years before 2011. Kerry are the GAA equivalent and are probably even or less advertised.

3) Does that include ones that are ridiculously easy? I have my doubts. His kick in the final did my fecking head in, he nearly took up the entirety of added time, and when it went over the referee added nothing on.

It was and all the other televised football matches this weekend were piss poor as well.

It's our national stadium, the FA cup final is held in Wembley every year, does that give an unfair advantage to Arsenal/Spurs/Chelsea?

I thought we were talking about the media, not success, Dublin are the most popular team, because of the population, and popularity of the sport.

No kick is ridiculously easy when an All Ireland Final is on the cards, extra time was already over, and he's our free kick taker from long distances, end of.

You don't like Dublin, fair enough, but you're coming across very bitter here.

Jake there are plenty of valid reasons for non dubs to have an issue with the dubs. Not all of the reasons are purely sporting either. I don't mind the Jacks, but I can see why others would. Don't be so blind as to not recognize many of your own problems.
