Gaa 2010

RHD as good a performance as it was we really didn't have the shooting boots on in the second half. With the midfield control we had we should have blitzed down on the field. We didnt take our points, and in the end only a great save stopped us from being reeled in!!

It was touch & go at the end alright man & we should have scored more to put the game outta the way, but a win is a win & the good thing is the team is showing a progression in form & thats what you want at this time of the year - peaking nicely along the way!

Thats always been my problem. Peaking too early!!

Hopefully, I can get involved in such antics after next Sunday!

Big game for ya's man - Fermanagh will put it up to ya's but you's should prevail. Many folk will be goin for the Ernie's due to the underdog tag & the fact they havent won an Ulster title in their history - a fact not lost on the players or their supporters!

Westmeath looked like they never saw a football before today... Poor game. Well done Louth and Meath. Hope whoever goes on gves a good account for Leinster football. Love to see Meath do it

Thanks Rams - gentleman as always

It was a hard fought victory against a vibrant Down team. You's came out of the blocks pretty quick & it was good to see us not panicking. It was an entertaining game & i'm pleased enough with the progress thus far!

Best of luck in qualifiers. Not many Southern Teams will fancy playin ya's

I still think Coulter and Clarke will take us far! Maybe we will see yous again!

I agree too, the worst part of today was that enclave of cloth eared meath twats down by the Nally Stand outsinging the Hill.

I remember the years when you had a Meath Dublin game on you had to look for tickets.....

Louth - Westmeath match should have been played in Navan in a packed Pairc Taitlann. Hate an empty Croker with no atmosphere yet 30,000 watching it. Does nothing for leinster football.

Aye unreal Baz, the Celtic Tiger bust perhaps? I know you are feeling a little sore but great to see the wee county after all these years in a Leinster final.

Certainly has taken the fun out of championship football in leinster.

The Hill is a magic place Moses, I remember 91 and 94 well, were you at the 94 final against Down?

My first season was 1984, missed 85 and 86 as the folks gave OZ a go, but have been there for most of the good days since, missed the Lenister final the year of the All Ireland, well I gave me ticket to a cousin who was home from Oz ... but Baz is right some of the Dublin - Meath games in the last 25 years have rivalled being a united fan (at the time anyway) - come to think of it those 4 games were almost 20 years ago!

Dublin have been heartbreaking this last 5 years, must be what it's like to be a scouser.

What a throw away from Sligo yesterday. 9pts up against a Galway team that looked devoid of ideas, only to crash and burn in the second half. I still think they might do it next week in sligo, and possibly in the developemnet of this young team 2 games against Galway could be no harm. The winners of this are certs for caunnaght, and a place in the quarter finals, and I can tell you that no-one apart from cork will want to meet the sligo team from the first half yesterday.

Ye, it's on RHD!

As I post, 10's of 1,000's of Farneyites are preparing for battle. Mushroom pickin, even chicken pluckin will be cast aside for the greater good of the county.

Peter Canavan, Art McGrory, Philomena Begley, Denis Taylor, Brian Coll & the Buckaroos, the Tyrone priest mentioned in Fr.Ted, RHD.......let battle commence!:mad::mad:

All the Mushroom Pluckers & chicken feckers in the whole free state wont stop the mighty Tyrone this year, let alone the puny and pethetic Monaghan.........

Well.....Thats the way its going.

Dont forget that i'm living in the south for the past 10 years and i dont hink that 1 day has gone by without someone doing a really shitty northern accent to me or calling me a northern fecker. I know that yous are just jelous but it really has become tedious.

You's boys must be taking this match very seriously if you're laying down the mushrooms & chickens to concentrate on the game... I better get onto Mickey & let him know :nervous:

Deep down, the Farney Mushroomites are Tyrone fans:
